Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityWent in for a gel manicure and pedicure. This was my second time here and the first time was just as awesome! It’s a little bit out of the way but I’m lucky I had the time to make it in today! Nancy did an excellent job. My last salon that I was using out of convenience has, over time, made my nails very thin, brittle and overall damaged. I’m very grateful that Nancy took the time to take care of my nails and they look gorgeous and feel a lot better. Went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. This was my second time here and the first time was just as awesome! It’s a little bit out of the way but I’m lucky I had the time to make it in today! Nancy did an excellent job. My last salon that I was using out of convenience has, over time, made my nails very thin, brittle and overall damaged. Came in over two weeks ago for a gel mani and it’s still holding up great! The gel hasn’t started chipping or lifting at all. I really appreciated the time and care Nancy put into making my nails looks great. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in town.

I knew that the appointment I booked was for just one service, but I wanted to change from a pumpkin spice Pedi to a basic gel Pedi with a gel manicure, and a chin wax. I have been to the Nail Bar a few times for pedicures and eyebrow waxes. The nail technicians are always friendly, kind, and helpful and the interior space is so cute and nicely decorated. The nail technicians really take their time and my nails always look great after getting pedicures here! I had an incident once where my appointment time got mixed up and one of the owners personally reached out to me to rectify it and reschedule the pedicure. She was super helpful and you can tell they really care about their customers!

Ouch! Second time here and my fingers hurt! Why use a buffer sponge on cuticles? It just rears them up, which I would think a competent manicurist would know. Still looking for a place to call my own. Polish removal

BEWARE OF EYELASH EXTENSION SCAMMERS! it is unfortunate that eyelash extensions scams / unethical beauty business operating practices have run rampant all over america. I have been investigating several various eyelash extension places around Philadelphia & sad to report this place is no different. Although nice on the exterior their employees are rude & shady characters. DO NOT buy all the fake 5 star reviews. They dip their ridiculously priced online services with “specials” to get you in the door and then intentionally fill less lashes on one eye and say they are even to then 24-48 hours you find they are uneven because your “lash tech” used less glue & sealant so you have to come back a week or two later to get a refill (& pay them more money). Yet, when you come back for the refill they don’t tell you until checkout that you didn’t have the required “40-50%” of lashes and use all kinds of justifications to turn the blame on you and then up-charge you based on fine print buried in disclaimer. on the website. They don’t tell you before you get on the table that they are going to overcharge you so they do the work & assure you don’t walk out before your session. its called BAIT & SWITCH my friends! Don’t take the bait! Not only am I never coming back here again, I am reporting them to the BBB & several beauty publications.
