Kiara is the most professional nail tech I have ever used. I started going to her during the pandemic in order to have a more personalized/individualized customer service experience. She is a master nail tech who is highly respected and very friendly. After a long days work, I can count on her to create just the vibe I need to be able to relax and leave with an excellent product. She communicates well and is willing to make adjustments when needed.

The Nail Bar Studio provides great customer service. I love being able to make an appointment and enter the studio without having to wait for service. The quality of nails are superb. I’ve gone three weeks without breakage or lifting of the nails. The entire space screams relaxation. My daughter went last Friday and got nails done by Kiara. Three transitions appeared, the deposit, one before she even got there to be serviced and one after she left. What is considered a fill- in the rest of the world she charged as a full set. She already had a full set of nails and needed one nail repaired. The nail she repaired already broke and it hasn’t been a week yet. She did offer to repair the nail IF she had availability within the next 2 days. The total charges were $106 for a full-in, one nail repair, gel polish and 2 small heart design. The design looked amateur. Never again. This was the first nail service she got since moving from Atlanta but this was not it! Not recommended.

This would have been my first time using Ms. Jackson. I was required to pay a $10 deposit when booking (totally fine with that) her policy says the $10 would be deducted from the remaining balance at time of service. The morning of my appointment, she sent me a text asking if I could come in at 11:45 instead of 11. I responded and told her I couldn’t because of my schedule. She said okay and told me she would try to get me finished by 12Noon instead of 11:48. Before I left, I received a notification from my bank stating she had already deducted my account for the service. I was told to wait in lobby when I got there. I waited in the lobby for nearly 30 minutes after arriving. No one came out to greet me. I received a text from her saying I could come to room four. When I got in the room she asked me to wait on the pedicure chair while she finished up with her customer. She wasn’t friendly. I even tried to start a conversation by asking her how she’s doing. She told me she only had a topcoat left to do with her customer and she would get right to me. When her customer returned to the room, it was obvious Ms. Kiara had to do more than a topcoat. After waiting a few more minutes and realizing she was going to make me wait until 11:45, I told her I had to go and she quickly responded OK if you’ve already been charged I’ll refund you. I have not been refunded. My assistant reached out to her several times yesterday, still no refund. This is unfortunate, based on the work I’ve seen online, she seems to be really good. But her customer service skills need more work, especially with new customers. She has deducted $52 from my account and my morning also included a waste of time and gas.

Clearly Kiara can do some beautiful nails, but her customer service is terrible. She is quick to deduct money but slow to give a refund. BMackWrites booked an appointment with Kiara, followed her policy and payed her deposit for an 11am appointment. BMack proceeded to show up on time but ended up having to leave due to her appointment being delayed by over 30 minutes because of Kiara without a real explanation. I reached out to Kiara concernng BMacks refund. Even though the delay was on Kiara, she explained that she will not be refunding the deposit and will be keeping it. After messaging back and forth, we said said she can keep the deposit and refund the rest. She claimed that we would get a confirmation the same day but we never did. BMack has not received a refund but the money has been taken from her account. Kiara did not apologize to BMack while she was at the salon but gave a mediocre apology when I texted her. Customer service can make or break your business. Kiara definitely needs to work on that area.
