I’m not much of a reviewer, but once in a while I have such an above and beyond experience that I’ve got to share it! I booked an hour long medical massage because of a lot of painful knots in my neck and back. Upon entering the room, Ted made it a point to welcome me and immediately connect with me by shaking my hand and looking me in the eyes. I don’t know about anyone else, but genuine connection means a lot to me personally. It’s a small detail, but a significant one. I instantly felt that he was well intentioned. After explaining to him what was bothering me and what I wanted to focus on, he explained that it was as much about me letting go and releasing as it is about him releasing tension for me. Putting it that way really helped me going into the massage. He was very kind with a gentle manner and he helped to relieve tension in places I didn’t even realize I was holding it! Super knowledgeable—you can tell he’s dedicated to what he does. Such a better experience than any chain massage place or spa if you’re really looking to work those trigger points! I definitely plan to book more sessions with him. If you’re holding back because you feel it’s more expensive than the average massage, just know it’s totally worth it!!

I came to see Tom feeling frustrated and broke down. Just about everything hurt. My sleep has been affected, I’ve been uncomfortable all day. The Muscle Mechanic came up in my search. I booked because of all the great reviews and I am NOT disappointed! Tom is engaging, he listens, obviously very knowledgeable about the body. Nothing was rushed, he brought focused intention and healing energy to his practice. He seemed to instinctively know what I needed and asked for feedback throughout. True therapy! Ted is walking in his purpose! Period! He is spiritually inclined and has self awareness. He is amazing and very intuitive! He never studied energy work, but I can feel him helping me release the trauma held in my body as he release the tension in my muscles. I felt more relief from this session than most of my past massages with others and he didn’t even massage me. He basically found pressure points and knots in my body and spiritually/physically helped me remove them. This was my first session with him and he could tell I wasn’t totally comfortable. He was patient with me, made sure I was comfortable, and adjusted the session for my comfort! I HIGHLY recommend him!!!!!!!
