Positive: Cleanliness, Punctuality, QualityI discovered Dee through a friend and by following her on social media for a year before FINALLY being able to go see her. Her before and after pictures are what caught my attention and brought me in.I live over 45 minutes away from the salon but her skill is worth the drive and the cost 1 million times over. She is the only person that has ever made me walk out in love with my hair regardless of what she does. I always walk in and tell her to do as she pleases and to have fun because I trust her that much. My hair has always been difficult to work with as it’s fine and breakable but that never slows her down. She is magic.The salon is always clean and comfortable and I love the vibe between her and the other stylists. Not only does she make me look and feel amazing every time I visit, she is such a funny, relatable, talented person! I’m so happy I finally decided to book with Dee! I’ve only been twice and I already feel like Dee is an old friend and I’ve been going there for years. She is so friendly and outgoing and makes you feel like you belong as soon as you walk in. My hair looks fantastic! I go for a more natural look and I can be very particular; Dee is so patient, knowledgeable, and talented. I added a style onto my appointment and she even took the time to teach me to curl my hair. I honestly can’t recommend The Mur highly enough!

I first tried out The Mur Salon after a few bad haircuts with my old stylist. She was nice but just didnt get what I needed. I needed a more inclusive salon. I needed a place where I felt comfortable being and expressing myself, and where I could get the style cut and color I wanted not just what the stylist thought I should have. The Mur Salon delivered that in spades, the owner and staff are such awesomely amazing people and the work they produce(scratch that, the ART they produce) is nothing short of amazing..if you want to feel welcomed get a great style and cut and have some fun doing it check them out!

As soon as I stepped through the doors of the salon, I felt so welcomed by both Dee and Ari. The products that the ladies use are vegan and 100% cruelty-free, which I absolutely love!!
