Needed to find a place to get my son’s haircut before he started back at Eckerd College. Found The Modern Man on Google and called and left a message. The owner Lisa texted back quickly and we were able to get an appointment later that same day. John did a phenomenal job on my son’s hair(not an easy task for a teenager). I was able to get a haircut too. John did such a great job I feel like I need to fly back to Gulfport for all my future haircuts! Thanks Lisa and John.

This is a very cool place. John is my barber and he is exceptional. Tremendous precision and Care in your haircut, accomplishes the goal set forth. The environment inside is very welcoming and tranquil, and the best way to manage your haircuts is with an appointment. The pricing is competitive with other places, but the quality of your haircut cannot be beat! I highly recommend this place.

This place is great. Excellent atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. I’m not a social butterfly and the staff here put me at ease immediately. Great haircuts, reasonable pricing, this will be my go to shop as long as I’m in the area. Just a great vibe in general 6 and the way they’ve set it up, it’s almost like stepping back in time (in a great way). You’ll see what I mean when you walk through the door.
