This salon is clean, bright and great parking. The staff is professional and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Kyla is my stylist and insanely gifted and talented. She is 100% focused on you during your appointment time which I find awesome, she never squeezes in a cut while you process under a heat lamp in a corner somewhere (not that there is anything wrong with that). It’s important to her to develop a relationship with her customers and make sure you leave feeling heard and beautiful. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone that compliments my hair… which is often. Come to this salon, join Kyla’s tribe of clients and thank me later.

I was on time my stylist was late.She hung in the back for a while.She cam out we discussed what I wanted.We into the back to mic color.Took a great deal of time doing that.She did a partial foil and put me by the heat.Then took out the foils.Toned my hair and then dried it. My color had not changed.My hair was still wet.,she was done. I gave her my debit to run .She swiped it quickly twice witch triggered a fraud alert on my card.I had to use another card. She also made sure I put her tip on the new card.I just through away 150.00. What I wanted was very simple.Now I get to pay again for so one else to do my hair.I normally never leave a review.I also would never cause a scene saying you did a really bad job. So please think twice before you get your hair done there. What I was asking her to do was not hard.I am out 150.00 and my had no changes in it.I love going out side on cold day with my head wet to.Thank you Mix salon for the wonderful experience.

The only service I’ve received here is massage therapy. Larissa is top notch and consistent. I’ve been to many massage therapist and I have to say Larissa is the best. The salon itself is adorable and nicely decorated. They have a cute little waiting area, although I’ve never had to use it as Larissa is always prepared, on time and ready for my appointment, even the times I’ve been a few minutes early. She does the full 75 minutes and doesn’t cut it short like a lot of other therapist. If I schedule a 75 minute massage, I get the 75 minutes. -there’s nothing more frustrating than scheduling a 60/75/90 minute massage and they end it 10 minutes early. Bonus, the bathroom is always clean!

The shop for a cut, neck shave, rinse and shampoo was only 27 bucks. Highly impressed with the cleanliness at the shop. Will be making all future hair appointments with Theresa from now on. I was tied of traveling to South Hill to get my short hair cut monthly and usually not happy with the cut. Thankfully The Mix Salon moved into the neighbor hood so I figured I had nothing to loose. My apt and meeting Andra has changed my hair style and now I love it. She cuts and snips so I never have a bad had day anymore. Bet hair cuts I’ve had since leaving the East Coast.
