For someone who was a high school athlete and now active duty military, my body is beat up and sore pretty often. Luckily, The Massage Spot has done a fantastic job at making me feel like a new man after a massage there. The owner Cindy does a great job at making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Couldn’t recommend this place enough whether you are a normal person needing a massage or someone who has a hard labor job.

I hadn’t had a professional massage for years so I was a bit nervous about going in for one. My feelings quickly changed when I met Cindy. I felt instantly at ease! She is very warm and kind and her massage area is very warm and inviting. She also has a nice bathroom if you need to go. She has an options for the bed to be warmed up or not. I chose to have her turn it off because I get hot easily. There is soft music playing if you like. Her linens are soft and comfortable. I got a Swedish massage and toward the end I had Cindy do extra work on my hands because I work with them. I also get cramps in my legs and feet and the massage helped me sleep at night and my hands felt so much better! I also think it’s neat that she is continuing her education to include oncology massage. She seems to be very body positive and I felt very comfortable with her. I felt so relaxed when I left. I felt like jelly! look forward to our next session!

Cindy gave a fantastic, relaxing massage that catered directly to my needs and expectations. She regularly checked in with me about pressure and comfort levels. She offered a table warmer, which I prefer not to have as a naturally warmer person. Her massage suite is calming and serene. I appreciated the lighting as she began the massage. The lighting is provided by a Himalayan salt lamp, which offered a warm glow. As someone who works in a bright, fluorescent environment, I enjoy minimal lighting when trying to relax. There was a nice instrumental spa mix for my session, though Cindy did say she’d play anything I’d like. She is very laid back and down to earth, easy to build rapport and trust with, and very assuring in her belief that every type of body is welcome and worthy of self care. Do yourself a favor and let Cindy squish your muscles into submission. I left feeling so relaxed, happy, calmer, and seemingly taller.
