Critical: ProfessionalismIt’s been a few years since I went here but my experience has stuck with me and I feel like I need to say something. I had moved a little but away from my normal hairdresser so I booked an appointment here to get a trim and have the hairdresser curl my hair for a Valentine’s date I was having later in the day. I can’t remember the name of the specific hairdresser but she was incredible rude. She told me my hair was thinning and looked really bad and that I need to see a doctor because I apparently had thyroid problems according to her. The experience shook me. No woman wants to be told things like that. I was accustomed to receiving compliments from hairdressers about how healthy and shiny my hair is. Anyways I made an appointment with my doctor on the hairdresser’s advice and had my thyroid checked. My tests came back normal. I returned to my usual hairdresser a few months later and told her about my experience here. My usual hairdresser told me my hair was not thinning and was completely normal and that the hairdresser I saw here did not have a medical degree and had no business telling me my hair was thinning. Do not go here. It’s been a few years since I went here but my experience has stuck with me and I feel like I need to say something. I had moved a little but away from my normal hairdresser so I booked an appointment here to get a trim and have the hairdresser curl my hair for a Valentine’s date I was having later in the day. I can’t remember the name of the specific hairdresser but she was incredible rude. She botched my “bangs” then bled me having thinner hair for it when I have always had my hair tapered with no issues. I asked for a pretty blonde balayage and came out with red hair that got darker and more red as the day went on. She kept saying it’s the toner it will fade and to give it a week. It did not fade like she said after a week. Was supposed to go back in a week later (two weeks after the original date). She rescheduled my time then cancelled on me because she was so behind. When I asked for a refund she was extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. She said it was pretty and no red was used, despite it bringing red. She would not give me a refund because she thought it was pretty even though it was not even close to what I asked for. Not a nice person. Avoid at all costs!! Worst experience of my life. Jennifer cut more than I asked her to. She botched my “bangs” then bled me having thinner hair for it when I have always had my hair tapered with no issues. I asked for a pretty blonde balayage and came out with red hair that got darker and more red as the day went on. She kept saying it’s the toner it will fade and to give it a week.
