Loved loved loved my hair done by Brandy! Did exactly what I wanted and more! Felt absolutely fantastic with my haircut and foils! She does an amazing job! And @ Lauren Coxen review, a word of advice, I would be careful with what you say as this sounds like defamation of character which may entail legal action so I would maybe re-word your bad review.

My daughter came home crying from her now boy like hair cut. It is not what she wanted. She told the stylist that she wanted to grow her hair out. She did not want 5 inches of hair renoved. The stylist did not listen to the customer.We had to order a wig. Very expensive day.

If I could give zero stars I would. With the exception of Gabby, the assistant washing my hair, I had a horrible experience. Brandy was the one that did my hair. Not only did she leave me completely alone with BLEACH in my hair for over 30 minutes, she never checked up on me during that time. She let another client bully me and make fun of my long hair while making eye contact with me so I knew she was talking about me specifically. Brandy was supposed to tone ALL of my highlights down so they wouldn’t contrast with my light brown hair since I wanted a natural look. Not only were some of the highlights COMPLETELY missed by the toner, some of my other highlights are patchy. The highlights were streaky and striped even though I was promised they would look “Sun kissed”. Some of the highlights themselves go light dark light dark ON THE SAME STRAND OF HAIR. Like a raccoon tail!!!!!! Normally I would’ve been able to catch this, but Brandy refused to dry my hair because she wanted to “go home”. I wasn’t able to catch how she absolutely trashed my hair until my hair was home and dried. I broke down sobbing for over an hour. I get married on Tuesday and now my hair is going to look like a cheap Walmart rollback special thanks to Brandy BUTCHERING my hair. I wish I could get my money, time, and hair back before I ever made the mistake of letting Brandy touch my head. Worst of all is that they don’t even open until my wedding day so I can’t even go back and get it fixed for free. Now I have to pay someone else to fix Brandy’s disaster. NEVER GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAIR.

Speaking as someone who has gone to her fair share of salons in the area, I can not praise The Loft higher! Brandi has taken the time, trip after trip to ensure that I’m getting exactly what I expect regardless if it’s a hair cut, highlight with all over color, and even branching me out to the greatness of a Brazilian blowout (which came with with more than a couple of questions from me)! To say that her patience and unwavering dedication to her profession is top notch wouldn’t even cover her greatness! Honestly the entire staff at The Loft are amazing, always willing to lend a helping hand, answer any question or literally just strike up a conversation during their down time! To say that I will continue to give this local business and local stylists my business is a given.

I went in just to get the split ends cut but they cut about 4 inches off. Now I can’t even put my hair in a ponytail. They also cut it unevenly. Haircut

How your color will look depends on who you get. I’ve walked away looking amazing and I’ve walked away uneven and really brassy on the last foils she did. I don’t want to use names regarding my unimpressed experience but I will say that Doni did a great job when I went to her. And I didn’t exactly bring her perfect virgin hair to work with either.

I’ve had a great experience at The Loft each time I’ve gotten my hair done here. Shannon is awesome and great with blonde. She’s always welcoming and ensures I am comfortable. The front desk staff is kind and polite! I also like the atmosphere at The Loft. Unlike a lot of other hair salons in the SOMD area, it doesn’t feel clique-y and gossipy here.
