Worst salon experience ever- asked for PARTIAL highlight and instead received a Platinum hair color! To make matters worse stylist became hostile to me when I expressed concern over the look and stress this much product put on my fine hair. Replied this was look her clients expected and why had I not gone to last person who did my hair. I was made to feel very uncomfortable. I have just moved to Summerville.Her solution was to then put a headful of low lights while ignoring my questions about how this would make my hair look after. So unprofessional and I never received an apology from stylist or salon owner and was made to feel this result was my fault? I was even charged for this service. I left salon with my hair same color as when I arrived except now I had damaged hair due to her bleaching my fine hair and putting it thru 2 highlight processing and toner services. Disappointed and exasperated does not begin to convey my feelings about this place.

Jess is amazing with unique colors and short styles. My 12 year old wears a asymmetrical pixie/bob cut and bleaches it out and dyes it bubble gum pink. She’s been getting this done for almost a year now and her hair is still in great shape.

The staff at Loft Salon are absolutely tops. They worked with me via email to confirm my appointment, and once my appointment day arrived, I was so warmly received. I have a new favorite stylist, Tanya, who is amazing. She made me feel so comfortable and took care of me completely… My cut was the best I’ve had in a long time. I am SO excited to have found Loft Salon! I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to find a salon at which they can establish a long-term relationship!

I’m never coming back. I had an undercut that I needed to be shaved down again after growing out about an inch. It was a really easy task, took less than 3 minutes in the chair but not only did she give me awful razor rash that I’d never had happen anywhere else, she also cut in the wrong place. There was this long tendril of hair on the floor when it should have been only shorter hair. They then had the audacity to charge me $25 as if it were a regular hair cut. Anywhere else will do undercuts for $10. (Many places were closed that day, this place was my last option) I asked them “really? $25 for a simple shave?” And she said “um. Yes.” There are so many hair salons in this town so I suggest going to literally anywhere else. Shears & Brushes on trolley is a wonderful place if you’re looking for a quality place with reasonable prices and talented staff.

Julie Curry has been my hairstylist for over 20 years. I have followed her over the years as her business has grown and expanded into The Loft Salon. I soooo look forward to, and enjoy, my time “in the chair.” It is so relaxing and is ME time at its finest. Julie is a color connoisseur and does not disappoint with color or cut. She is simply the best and I’m thankful I found her so long ago! In addition to my loyalty to Julie, I️ find all the stylists at The Loft to be friendly, talented and superb at their trade. I️ highly recommend this salon.

I have had such horrible experiences with getting my hair cut at other salons since i moved here in 2013..i decided to trim and cut my own hair which was fine with it being very long with a few side angles..well i got tired of it and wanted a change, i decided to be brave and give this place a try..i called and got an appointment with Keith..i went in, told him what i was going for and Thats exactly what i got! All smiles, I love my hair! FINALLY, a friendly,clean,warm,welcoming salon with talent..
