However, we now relocated to a smaller more intimate salon suite down Magnolia a couple miles in Burbank! It is Rosie Fiore, Amy Edwards, and Erinn Van Welker at Salon Republic and we are always accepting new kind humans to allow us to run our fingers through their hair. I have been coming to this salon for almost a year and a half. Recently the stylist that was there moved on and left and I was ready to make a change since I have naturally curly hair. Since being on lockdown I began to explore the curly girl method and discovered that there are stylists that will cut curly hair correctly…Every stylist I have ever gone to has straightened my hair or cut for straight hair. While exploring the list of wonderful and experienced stylists on the website, I came across Sarah Chaney! AND WHAT A GEM! I reached out to her and decided to wait patiently to get my cut and color with her. I have been waiting all my life for someone like her to get a hold of my hair. She took the time to listen to my curly hair gripes, took into account all the things I had done to it, and made an assessment and plan of how she would move forward with keeping my curls tamed and beautiful. I haven’t embraced my curls since I was a child and I feel like I got a total makeover! She did a dry cut, then colored, and added beautiful highlights. Most importantly, she took the time to show me how to style my own hair. It’s been a month that I’ve been working with it and the cut really made the difference. She really understood my hair structure and explained why certain products work or don’t work. Aside from her expertise in curly hair, I must say she is so sweet, funny, and made me feel taken care of. I am so thankful and appreciative that I found her. I would highly recommend that anyone who is looking for a curly cut or needs help with the method to definitely reach out to Sarah!

I have no words for how incredible of a stylist Brittany is! I have been seeing her for over 4 years and I always get complimented on my hair. They are now back open after quarantine so book your appointment today! This salon lives up to it’s name. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for 4 years and every time I come I feel like I’m going to my secret local hair oasis. I’ve had multiple stylists and never been disappointed with a hair cut. I’m currently getting my hair cut by Sterling and she’s amazing. I never know how I want my hair and she’s always willing to brainstorm with me to come up something new and fun. The stylists here are really nice. Brittany Laine is amazing. She is one of the only stylist I’ve encountered in the city that can cut Asian hair. She’s the first stylist I’ve found in seven years. Asian hair is a totally different texture and falls differently but she can manage it! My layers and highlights came out perfect and my hair looks amazing whether it’s straight or wavy, dry or wet, or straight out of bed! Fantastic and sexy! Classy or fun! It was so refreshing to go to someone that understands the specific challenges of curly hair, and she was so knowledgeable regarding my hair type and what would weigh down vs enhance my curls.
