The establishment is nice enough but that doesn’t make up for the loud atmosphere. The music was so loud, the beauticians were practically screaming (in my ear no less) to be heard. I’m a more mature client, but they make no provisions for that clientele. Having your hair done should be therapeutic, not stressful. My 4 hour experience here was terrible and I won’t be back. Too bad. They did a nice job on my hair.

I LOVE THE LOC SHOP!!! The professionalism and knowledge of the locticians is unmatched! There is never a day I go to get my retwist or style that I’m not greeted with a smile when I walk through the door. Shanti Dread started my locs almost 4 years ago and I wouldn’t even THINK of letting anyone else outside of The Loc Shop touch my dreads. Their Ebony Essentials products are the ONLY products I use in my hair and they do not disappoint! I love the women who work there and am loc’d for life!!!!

I love this place!!! I try to go atleast once a month to get my hair re-twisted. Both sisters are the bomb.com. they make you feel comfortable like you’re right at home. They greet you with Hi Queen!! I love it. They make you feel beautiful even before you sit in their chairs. After you’re done, you feel like a brand new person. They are awesome!

Critical: ProfessionalismIf I could, I would not have even given them one star. I reached out to this Loc shop mid December 2021, trying to schedule an appointment in January 2022, I sent texts, called and left a voice message, completely unware that I had to go online to make an appointment. No one from this shop had the courtesy to just shoot me a quick simple text back telling me I need to schedule an appointment on line. It wasn’t until after I sent a text calling them out on how unprofessional they were they decide to reply back to my text telling me I needed to go to some website to make an appointment with them. It took me to have to send them a “negative” text message, calling them out on their BS, to get their attention!! They had the nerve to say they were too busy to respond to my texts, mind you I’ve been trying to reach them since 12/20/21 here it is now 1/4/22 that they decided to reply back to my “negative” text message. Because of this experience I had with them, I gave them this rating, the lady that I dealt with by text, was very rude, she lacked courtesy, respect and she’s very unprofessional.
