Highly recommend! I was looking for a salon in the Humble area and decided to try The Loc Nursery, because of the great reviews. I had my hair twisted and I love my new look! Tammy was insightful, understanding, and patient when we discussed where my hair had been and in what direction we would be going with it. The shampoo was relaxing and she really took her time. She knows what she is doing from start to finish. Tammy is very professional, polite and talented. I will be going back for sure and recommend Tammy to anyone who would like their hair to look the best can be.

I have been natural for a long time (2008) and I have always been hesitant with people in my hair. (everybody that does hair, DON’T KNOW HOW TO DO HAIR). I was also hesitant about getting my hair locked, because I wanted to find the right person that knew how to loc and maintain my hair. Once I decided to get it locked my daughter find this place called “The Loc Nursery” and even then I was hesitant. I was actually hesitant up until the day of my appointment. I prayed that the person that my appointment was with would be Tammy, because for some reason every time I looked at the website I saw multiple stylist. I read the reviews and the reviews on Tammy was phenomenal, so I wanted her. She called me the day of my appointment and I’m glad she did because I was running late (couldn’t find it due to the construction and truth be told, me being nervous of getting there, not knowing what to expect.) During the call I felt a sense of relief. Once I walked thru the door we had an instant connection. there was a commonality on everything we talked about. We talked like we been knowing each other for years. I felt so comfortable that I forgot she was in my head (and I would know because I am what you call tender headed.) Thank you Ms. Tammy for your warm welcome and outgoing personality. I can’t wait to see all that you will do with my hair. For I know that my hair is in good hands with you.

Anything less than 5 stars is a joke, this women is the real deal no question. One of the best locticians in North Texas. She stay hooking me up both in the chair and with hair care tips in between appointments/long term. She has a wonderful spirit as well. Great presence and energy to be around, authentic and genuine, she ain’t on no BS. Highly recommend 10 outta 10!
