We planned on a natural birth but were surprised by a necessary c-section, and Lacreshia helped us navigate this transition and make it as peaceful as possible. The stars aligned and she had a cancellation due to a breech baby that would require a c-section, and I was able to book her for the birth of my first child in just a few weeks.Lacreshia immediately became an invaluable member of our team. Her gentle, caring nature was immeasurably calming and helped to assuage my husband and my fears regarding the end of pregnancy and the birth. Complications were stacking up quickly and she provided us with a plethora of insight and advice and listened to us at every step.When the time came for the birth and we unexpectedly ended up with a super long, convoluted hospital induction, Lacreshia never once left our sides and took every change in stride. She helped us make important decisions and offered us the kind of wisdom that can only be learned through vast experience. She is unendingly calm and thoughtful and was able to intuit when we needed closeness and when we needed space. She kept us laughing and let us cry and her presence helped me to feel safe and empowered throughout the whole experience.I made a lot of decisions during my pregnancy, and Lacreshia is unequivocally one of the best.
