The Little Salon is a small boutique salon in downtown Sarasota, Florida. Hair cutting has always been our strength having many stylists with a background in the Vidal Sassoon technique. Our stylists all have many years of experience in cutting and coloring, skilled in short hair, long hair, curly hair and straight hair. We offer highlights, balayage, keratin treatments and various coloring techniques. We use OWay Botanical Hair Care exclusively in the Salon. Bring back your empty bottles and refill with fresh product at the refill bar. Refill. Reuse. Recycle.

Janette did a perm for my long hair. I used to do big waves but never tried curls. I was afraid it turn out bad or not fit me since I’m an Asian! I am so happy it turned out amazing and I look very different but in a great way! Every single friend complimented my new style and they want to do the same perm as mine but they do not live in town, unfortunately. Even strangers, I had people stop by and tell me that they love my hair at the busy airport lol!

I had a great experience as a the customer at the little salon! I was referred to Emma for a hair color and roots smudge. I have been to a few places around Sarasota, but have truthfully not been entirely satisfied with the results. Emma was consultative and personal and her approach, and I left with hair that I love.

I love The Little Salon! Quite literally the cutest salon in all of sarasota with the most friendly staff ever. As a young adult, I have been to countless hair stylists in sarasota and no one was ever able to get my hair right with what I asked for. Renee is a hair artist and magician. Scissors are her paintbrush; and her talent and techniques are extraordinary. Amazing haircuts; so incredibly clean; last 4x as long as a regular haircut! and I can say this because I live 1,056 miles away from Sarasota. I have known Renee since she was out on LBK many years ago; best haircuts I have ever had! Janette is a master colorist and took my over-processed straw and made it hair again; she is a wonderful addition to the team at the best salon – The Little Salon!
