I am blown away by the professionalism, quality, and cleanliness of the place.Another bonus is that it’s so close to where I live, I could practically walk here, or run here (no joke)! And not to mention, near Jake’s, which is a phenomenal breakfast/lunch please. They also give you a couple of cookie biscuits which are so good pre Covid. Plus everyone who works here is super friendly!! I asked for someone who specializes in blonde color, and got Jordan. From the moment I met I felt like I’ve known her forever She’s extremely personable, kind, can talk about anything with you, and makes you feel at ease. Most importantly she’s very caring and cares about the health and integrity of your hair!I was nervous to go all blonde again, as my hair is very dark. Plus I’ve been to so many salons in the area who end up making my hair this orangey color, when in fact I’m looking for an ashier look. Trust me, it’s hard to find!But Jordan did a fabulous job and this was one of the most fun appointments I had! She has never failed to amaze me. The Lift in North Amherst is a wonderful salon! Very clean and everyone is super friendly and welcoming. This was my first time at this salon, and I am glad that I went. Jordan cut my hair and did an excellent job. She took the time to go over everything that I wanted and checked in as she cut my hair to make sure I was happy with it. I can’t get over how smooth and wonderful my hair feels. All the hair products are great, they smell good too! Highly recommend!

This salon is beautiful and so friendly and welcoming. I saw Laura for a haircut and she is truly a hair magician. She knew exactly what to do with my curly hair that desperately needed a refresh. She was incredibly kind and friendly and personable and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wavy and curly hair. I’m very excited to have found this salon and this stylist!

This was my first time at this hair salon and I just went for a quick trim for my hair. They did a really good job, however the rate that I was told for a trim/haircut ended up being doubled when I went to get my hair done. When I called them after my appointment to ask them about the pricing and why mine was so much compared to others all they said was that the lady who was doing my hair has a higher rate because of her skill level. That is fair yet I was not aware of that and did not specify who I wanted I just made an appointment and feel as though I should have been told that the price would be increased because I would have then gone in a different direction.

Worst experience ever. Ruined my hair and spent over $500. In two years my hair still has not recovered. The “stylist” bleached my hair all in one excruciating session, they let the bleach sit for well over an hour. Which turned it into straw. I ended up having to cut it super short, just to get all the damage out. Save your money and your hair, do not go here!

Had a wonderful experience with stylist Jordan. Not only did she get me back from purple to my original brown but cut my unruly curly hair. She did it with ease, caution and care! Then she styled it. I felt beautiful . While she worked she asked me about my hair care and suggested a few products from their haircare line which I purchased. Its been a week and my hair still looks and feels wonderful. Thank you Lift and Jordan. Recommend Jordan highly.

Let me just say, this place is AMAZING. I get my hair cut about once a year…and I always used to dread it, but not anymore! I am 23, and I have had to dye my hair once every 6-8 weeks since 16 due to having gray hair that I felt self conscious about. When I used to go to the hairdressers, they would always make me feel bad about myself. Not Lift Salon. Morgan cut my hair and she was excellent. I showed her what I was looking to get and we talked for awhile about how to achieve it and what products to style my hair with. She really listened to what I had to say and I think that’s awesome. Hairdressers in the past would roll their eyes when I gave them pictures, and simply state that a picture was achieved with products and leave it at that. My haircut is about 3 weeks old now and it looks just as good as the day I got it. I can’t wait to go here from now on to get my hair cut and colored. It is well worth the money, and self care is important! 5 out 5!

The Lift is great! After moving to Western Mass from California I was very nervous about finding a new stylist. Someone recommended Kate to me and she has been absolutely wonderful. I’ve struggled a lot with my hair and she’s done such a great job with it – I always leave feeling 10x better than when I came in. The salon is always clean, front desk staff is friendly, and appointments are easy to book – what’s not to love?? I’ll continue coming here to see Kate as long as I live in the area! Highly recommend.
