Aaliyah is one of the best stylists I’ve had do my hair ever! And I’m tender-headed! She’s also very nice friendly and knowledgeable in her craft. I mainly get my natural hair done but she can do it all she never fails to amaze me with her skill. But full transparency…. The reason why I didn’t give five stars is you always have to wait because she’s working on multiple people at the same time. So clear your schedule if you book an appointment but it’s well worth the wait.

Unprofessional! Rude! My Granddaughter had an appointment yesterday, the day before her 13th birthday, to get her hair done, and upon arrival, it was only 1 operator there, with her hair all over her head, she stated she was the only stylist there and that she was about to do a 2-hour job and couldn’t do her hair. She was unprofessional and nonchalant and had the audacity to say bring her back tomorrow and it will be $120. My Granddaughter was so disappointed but my Daughter was able to find a Hair Cuttery that took her and did an excellent job as late as it was. This is what you get when you try to support our people but it will never happen again!!! I wish I could give (0) stars just for the unprofessionalism.

I give this hair salon a 5-star because they really believe in hair care. The Stylist Aaliyah really took the time to ask questions about my hair and made some really good recommendations of products for me to use on my hair. I’ve been wearing my hair natural for the last 10 years and the products that she recommend works well on my hair. I go every two weeks for my consistent treatment and to keep my hair stylist. This is the reason why I’ll give the salon a 5-star rating a great job to Aaliyah.

I’ve been here once and twice, and my daughters have been here as well. We both give Ms. Cherell(sp) and Rika the highest praise. It’s my last encounter that has me hesitant to come back. We scheduled an appointment for my baby, who is 9, to get her hair braided. We arrived 10 minutes early, the stylist was working on someone’s Jaír when we arrived, and there was another young lady sitting waiting for service as well. 40 minutes later my daughter was taken back to be washed, after I asked how much longer we had to wait. The stylist came back, washed my daughters hair and washed the young lady who turned out to be waiting for her as well. The stylist put them both under the dryer and left them there. For over an hour. My baby was almost in tears from the heat, and the wait that she eventually went to sleep. Numerous times, the stylist said we were up next, while braiding and sewing in a weave. Even had the nerve to say with slight attitude that she has to finish with her client After 2 hours and some minutes, I asked her how much I owed for the shampoo and condition, paid her $25 and got my baby out of there. I ended up taking her to one of the braid shops on the mall. The stylist at Lavish Loft gave us an awful experience for a child that was so excited to have her hair done. I understand that we all like money, but have some respect for others time and don’t overbook yourself. Not only does it make you look bad but because of the stylists greed, I ended up spending more that initially planned.

Great atmosphere! I love it here. I enjoy coming to the lavish loft salon. I make it a ritual to come here every 2 weeks for an appointment. Most importantly, my hair is in a healthy state and I have my stylist to thank for that. I have been going to Cherell for 10 years and she is awesome! All of the stylists are amazing at their craft and professional.

My daughter & I have been there a few times and it’s a nice environment. However, the stylist was an hour late today and never apologized for being late. The pricing is out of this world! Meaning, the bill will be racked up for unnecessary charges. For example a cut & perm was $130. I don’t know about anyone else but that is expensive for that service. The styling is mediocre at best. The 3 stars are for the friendly stylist there, their attention to your needs once your actually serviced, and the clean environment.

Gf wanted to get her hair done for birthday. A Cherrel Stewart confirmed an appointment with her for Dec. 6 @11am. She emailed her again, never got a response back. No one was there to do her hair, only the braider was there and wasn’t a help at all. Phone ringing in the salon, she sits there doesn’t pick up the phone, just says someone was supposed to be here at 10.

Great customer service. It’s just pricey for amateur work. I wasn’t happy with the hair cut I got there and it actually made me insecure, thank god for weave. The people there are nice though, just wouldn’t recommend anyone to get a hair cut there.
