Margaret is hands down the best!! I have always had long, nice eyelashes. I used to scoff at people who asked if they were fake. I’d never! But…then I really liked how extensions looked versus fake eyelash strips. So, I found a friend with the nicest lashes and asked who they went to. I was hooked. The lady was in a typical nail salon, and that should have been my first clue! After several months, my eyes hurt, and I had headaches. I was lucky enough to see another friend rave about Margaret and decided to ask her opinion about my issues and thank God I did! My lashes were a mess! I’ve gone to Margaret for years now. My lashes NEVER hurt; my eyes aren’t red, and my head doesn’t hurt. This is because she takes her time, and my lashes are still healthy. Everyone goes through a shedding period, but when put on properly, you can have lashes for years. But you have to see the right person! Margaret won’t do anything that will compromise your lash health to save time or make her money. I cannot tell people this enough. Don’t go to nail salons for lashes just because you save a few bucks!! You’ll regret it after you ruin your lashes! They often use the cheapest materials and rush through the job, or they overfill your lashes, which causes irreparable harm. You get what you pay for, and if you want to have natural lashes left, if you decide to stop getting extensions, who you see for those extensions matters! Not only has Margaret saved my lashes, but she’s become a friend. I got married last year and told her before anyone! Haha. I moved to Dallas from Keller a year and a half ago yet still drive to Margaret every other week, and I’d do it from anywhere! She’s worth it.

Margaret is the BEST!!! I get compliments on my lashes everywhere I go!!! I have very sensitive skin so I was worried about the glue but she only uses the top of line products and I’ve never had any issues. I don’t think I could ever go without my lashes!

Margaret is PHENOMENAL. I began going to her originally for my lashes, but upon learning that she did microblading, microshading etc., I asked her a plethora of questions and later booked my appointment with her. She went through all of the different techniques available to figure out what suited me best; she is such a resource of knowledge at her craft! Honestly, I was nervous as heck because I have darker skin (which tends to be more sensitive to any trauma/break in the skin) and feared potential scarring. Turns out all that fear was for nothing because Margaret is so incredibly skilled at what she does. I’m a few weeks post microshading/blading and the results were fantastic and my brows and skin healed perfectly! On top of that Margaret followed up with me the following day and even a couple of weeks beyond that to see how my brows were doing; her service to her clients and skill/quality of work is unmatched. If you want the best results, book with Margaret Akers at The Lash Room DFW! The salon is beautiful, clean, the location is convenient and she’s so great to work with, going above and beyond to make sure you love your look!
