My appointment with a senior stylist got canceled in Lake Oswego a few hours before.. and rescheduled in portland with a newer stylist. My eyelashes look good but she was rushed because they squeezed me in between 2 appointments. Unfortunately that was at the expense of my eyeballs getting a painful INFECTION. I honestly don’t know how they expected a newer stylist to complete my full set in an hour and a half. Since the previous client was late, my appointment ran a few minutes late as well and of course I got a parking ticket since my appointment went well over 2 hours. I am so frustrated that they kept rushing this girl to do my eyelashes when they said they had the time. Getting bacterial conjunctivitis is disgusting and should never happen at such a high end salon.. my eyes hurt so bad. I know it is not allergic reaction to the glue because I have gotten lashes before and never had this issue. I think it might be time to review the sanitary standards for this location.

I went in for the full hybrid set and a brow tint. I have never had any cosmetic procedure like this before so I didn’t know what to expect but I do know that the brow tint for $34 is a scam. I suppose it’s my fault for expecting it to be more like microblading or whichever procedure makes your eyebrows shapely and more filled in.

I went in for lashes for my sister’s wedding and thought I scheduled a hybrid lash for $169. I actually scheduled with a “master stylist” who convinced me once my eyes were taped short that I should go with a different style so I agreed. When I went up to pay the total was almost $400!!!! I immediately got a pit in my stomach. I was never informed that the suggested lashes would be more than twice as much as I was expecting nor what a “mater stylist” fees would be. Definitely confirm the pricing prior to any service. I did write the manager about this and she was quick to respond and offered to set me up with a stylist more in my budget and made things right. I went in for a fill with a new stylist Andreya who was wonderful and very transparent about pricing. I always appreciate a business that listens and makes things right if there is ever an issue and the Lash Lounge definitely did!

After 2 decades of Lash/Brow tints with eye area waxes in Bend & Eugene Oregon & New Orleans I had not been as overall pleased with my experiences since moving to Portland. I read good reviews about The Lash Lounge Lake Oswego- Windward, gave them a try and was totally satisfied! The salon was pristine & peaceful, the bed had a soft blanket for those sensitive to A/C or winter cold, the front desk person was great & my Lash/Brow person, Lexi, was extremely pleasant & competent, listened carefully & did a great job with the threading I had not had before as well as the tinting. A little more costly that some, but great quality. The 4, instead of 5 stars is for the higher cost.
