Asked for payment upfront, gave my card and she immediately added another $5 for not having cash. I said can you waive the fee?, she said no and pointed to an ATM in the shop. Fee was high on ATM so I left and went to the free credit union down the street. Came back had a two hour massage which was wonderful. As I was getting dressed she asked me if I wanted tea. I said yes, thank you. Got dressed, came out for tea but it wasn’t tea, it was tip! I said oh, I thought you said tea, she said no tip tip. I said I only took out the ATM the amount for massage, said I forgot to grab me some cash to. I told her I enjoyed it so much I’ll be back in three days (I said I can come twice a week, they’re not expensive and massage was great). I told her I’ll bring a double tip when I come back. She began to pace and point to ATM, I said I’m not paying the fee, she said give me your card, I’ll waive the credit card fee for tip. I said you wouldn’t waive it when I asked you to keep me from going to the bank, wasting time and gas but you’re willing to waive it for your tip? She said yeah, lol. I said no, I’ll bring it when I come in three days. This lady fell on the counter crying, fussing, telling her coworker, boss what happened. She gave me all the negative energy she just rubbed off. It was horrible, she turned a great massage into a mess because she couldn’t wait three days. An entire tantrum took place by this grown woman, tears and all; so unprofessional. Never saw anyone beg and fall out for a tip. I never went back. The vibe was off!

Agree there was a language barrier. The massage was pretty good but the lady kept walking into the room while I was trying to change both before and after. She was really nice but I have to admit I felt a little weird leaving there. It’s a walk-in massage place so no appointment needed.
