I came here couple times to Nellie, at first I thought she was the best stylist out there because of how she would tell me things about my hair and me not knowing anything I believed her. Over some time I noticed my hair not growing properly and a lot of damage overall. I decided to cancel my appointment with her and go to someone else and when the new stylist was doing my hair we noticed absolutely no color on my hair in some places when Nellie would be telling me she was doing highlights all around the head. I’ve been noticing how she would leave the back of my head untouched but not to this point. When I texted her about this she kept on saying that’s not true and started ignoring me. The way she deals with problems is ignoring or blocking the client. I wanted a refund because I would be paying around 200 – 210$ every visit and expected a lot more but she didn’t want to solve the problem. She would tell me to come back every month or two for “touch up” which was her way of ripping me off. Definitely would not recommend, ever since I stopped going to her my hair started feeling a lot healthier. Keep your hair safe out there !

All the reviews that have a Slavic sounding name are done by one person who sent her friends to attack Nellie because she got mad over not getting her $50 deposit on when she cancelled the same day. Woman demanded that Nellie change her color multiple times despite the numerous advise she received to wait as it would be damaging to her hair, and now she’s unhappy that her hair is damaged and wants her no show deposit back. Because Nellie explained to her the policy. She became a Karen. Also there are men on here and people making reviews who have never been seen by anyone at this salon. Google really needs an option to report people who did not use these services.

If possible I would have given this place a review of zero stars or even less. Absolutely terrible! Nellie just the absolute worst! Never ever ever! Please fire her. She ruins people’s hair and makes a ton of money out of it! She charged multiple people $250 + to do hair and completely ruined it. Seemed fine coming out of the salon but after looking at it at home in depth absolutely terrible. Left people crying and when people tried to get a refund or fix she literally mocked them and stepped all over them. It’s terrible. No refunds given. No fixes and she just demoralized everyone! Also in addition to all this she charges 1 price initially and then after finishing changes it and adds more money to it because she “used more product” to every customer. Please fire her! It’s terrible. The absolute worst.

Prior to her I’ve had to get a prescription shampoo to keep it under control, which was extremely expensive and a big headache! Mario cuts my hair. I like the place. I have been going there for probably a couple of years. The Salon is big and airy with tasteful decor, but Mario is the reason I go. He does great work!

Never come to this place! Nellie does such a HORRIBLE job! I would never trust her with my hair. She doesn’t know what she’s doing at all. When she messed up, she didn’t want to acknowledge her mistake and didn’t even fix it. For $300 I would expect perfect results not have deal with issues as soon as I get home. Never coming back here and will tell everyone I know not to come here. Worst spot in Rocklin I’ve ever been to.
