Natoya has truly started my healthy hair journey. She is passionate about making sure her clients leave looking amazing and have healthy hair. She is knowledgeable of various styles and gives suggestions that are beneficial in the end. I would definitely suggest House of Chic any day. Definitely check her out!

I asked for a sew-in but was told the quick weave would be better. When I went back to have the quick weave removed, Instead of wetting the install properly to loosen it up, Natoyas assistant ripped the quick weave off and ripped my hair from the scalp as well. I currently have bald spots, But when I came to House of Chic, I had a head full of hair! I am still debating whether I want to sue or not. If you want to keep your hair, Think twice before going here.

AMAZING is all I can say. I found Natoya on Instagram looking for someone to do my hair since I moved here from Ft. Carson, Colorado. I’m currently stationed at Ft. Bragg and it’s a 2.5hr drive and I make that drive every 2wks to get my hair. She is very knowledgeable and takes time out to educate you on what direction you need to take when it comes to your hair. I would recommend anyone who is interested in getting their hair done THE right way. She is all about HEALTHY hair, trust me she got me right.

I had an appointment to have a haircut. Now my edges weren’t in the best of shape but i still had thick short hair above that and I thought that I could at least have some type of cut where I would still have my hair. I will never come to her business again. I kept probing for natural hair tips as she was cutting but she would give a short answer and then go “idk” or get quiet. In mid cut, ole girl said “I’m not a natural hairstylist.” I didn’t get the cut I wanted, I honestly don’t think she knew what to do with my hair so she just cut it in a way and left it there. She washed my hair and put some cream in it and that was it. Now I have no hair and i don’t feel good about myself at all. I should have kept my hair the way it was.

After seeing her boast on her Instagram page about a cut she had done that didn’t require a relaxer, I made an appointment for the same style. I chose a morning appointment but it took her hours to even get to me. Apparently the stylist (can’t remember her name) booked several appointments within minutes of each other. When I spoke with her about the long wait, she said rudely, “well I can just give you your deposit back” and made excuses. I had an event that evening so I had no choice but to wait; it was a Saturday and I knew I wouldn’t be able to find another stylist with such short notice.

I made an appointment a few months ago for a quick weave. I waited for her for about 30 minutes before the people from.a nearby shop.tols me that she moved. I called her and she texted back. I told her that I had an appointment and she told me that I did not because she blocked off her calendar so she could move into her new shop. I screen shot my appointment. She apologized blaming it on a glitch in the system but was not able to do my hair until the following week.

I should’ve checked for reviews on this shop before wasting my money. I’m extremely disappointed in the hair service and the customer service. I came in for a sew in with minimal leave out, came out with damaged hair and ended up taking the style out two days later. Looked nothing like what I asked for. She barely styled it after putting the weave in and her attitude was almost as if she was doing me a favor. I highly recommend finding another shop.
