Hidden Gem on the UWS!! This team knows what they are doing when it comes to beauty. I first came here with shoulder long hair and got a short pixie cut which I absolutely ADORED! This was my first time visiting this salon. I was in great need of a cut and color. I tend to get nervous before going to NYC salons as I’ve had experiences where I end up paying more than I asked for. Granted this is my fault for getting caught up in the fast talk of well you need this and that. You should’ve come sooner. To be honest I cannot always afford to keep my hair in check. Julie was fantastic. She listened and exceeded my expectations with the color, cut and style. The end result brought a smile to my face and did not break the bank. The prices you see online are what you will pay. I definitely will be back.

I went to get my hair highlighted via the balayage method and have a hair date with my mom who got a haircut. Everything started out great, staff seemed nice, especially the assistant, ended ok even though I got layers when I specifically asked for no layers and my hair was styled in a way I would never. Come time to check out, this salon has cash prices and credit card prices which was a little shocking considering we’re on the upper west side. The difference was astonishing, my mother and I confused. We paid, tipped and left. Only to return a few minutes later to ask for the break down. I wasn’t aware I was being charged for a single, highlight, gloss, hair cut that he convinced me I needed even though I had gotten a haircut 3 weeks prior (somewhere else). I really wish prices were made clearer during services because I would’ve just declined some. Also when doing highlights who doesn’t get a gloss after? You can’t just leave highlights raw!!!! Highlights and gloss should just all included in the price point. After my hair style died down I noticed all these thick chunks of blond (mostly on one side). I’ve washed my hair about twice now and the tone of my hair is just not right and neither are highlight placements. My mom liked her haircut but we definitely Wouldn’t come back here.
