Stopped in yesterday to start a monthly membership to get my base tan started before spring/summer. They were super friendly and welcoming and the salon was very clean. Prices are fair & they have several different options when signing up. Definitely would recommend coming here!

I have been tanning for years all over the place and the hot spot is hands down the best salon I have been to so far. The bulbs are hot and get you tan quick! Unlike other salons, the level one beds are just as good as the level three beds. You get what you pay for here. The staff are so polite and professional. I would recommend over and over again.

Best tanning salon I have ever been to. Every single one of the employees are so friendly, polite and so helpful. Always get greeted by a great big Hi and a smile from ear to ear. Going here is like visiting my family, cause that’s exactly what the staff here has become to me. The girls have the best knowledge about the newest lotions to try and they always have them in stock. The salon is very clean, the girls are so meticulous I want them to come clean my house! Seriously, if you are looking for a tanning salon in Jacksonville, The Hot Spot is the place to go. Super staff, clean as can be, and the prices are very reasonable.

My husband and I are from Florida and enjoy tanning. We thought coming to Jacksonville there would be tanning salons. Well there are hardly any with crazy hours (opening at noon ?!). But, we checked this place in a good location and were so happy! Their prices were fair and they have multiple types of beds, lights are hot and seem to be replaced often enough where you’re getting a good tan and not ripped off. They also have month to month or other payment options which is nice. They have a monthly sale that changes (example would be 25% lotions or deals on other items/services). They also have a military discount! They offer spray tanning as well and the inside is clean and a fun beachy vibe. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a tanning salon with GOOD hours, hot lights and fair prices.

It’s so comfy here! Very clean, laid-back atmosphere. The ladies are all very nice and helpful. The prices are great. The tanning lotion is always up to date. It’s usually a sale of some kind going on which we women love.The owner is amazing. I love that this place is locally owned. Thanks Missy for giving us ladies a place to relax rather it’s 10 minutes or 20 it’s the best.

I’ve been coming to this salon for over 4 years now and I absolutely live it! The employees are super nice and always so helpful when I want to purchase new lotions or anything else. The beds are also amazing and it is a super clean place. I would highly recommend coming and trying out their amazing beds!

I have been a member of The Hot Spot since 2008 and absolutely love Candace and the staff! The facility is always exceptionally clean, which is most important to me! The beds are great and bulbs are changed often. I don’t always go regularly, but find it more cost effective to keep my membership for the several months a year that I do wish to have a tan! I always start getting dark after only a few visits, and there is always super cute jewelry in stock. I am not a huge fan of spray tans, but have gotten them for special occasions and have been pleased with both the natural appearance of the tan and professionalism of the staff while applying it. I will stick with Candace and her staff for as long as I live in the area!

I absolutely love the beds here. I was given a gift card for my birthday, otherwise I wouldn’t spend my own money here. The customer service is horrible. I’ve been employed in customer service for over seven years. The first thing you should do when a customer walks in the door is greet them. There hasn’t been one time when the manager has greeted me when using the facility. At least put on a smile and say hello and act like you enjoy your job.
