Moved to Seattle in 2018 and after trying out different barbers, I can say The Head Shop is my “home base.” Music is always dope, atmosphere is awesome, and Roderick (my guy) is always on point. Martin and the entire shop are also super welcoming. Had to take a break and do the whole “covid haircut” thing for a bit, but now it’s time for a proper cut. Def plan on being a long-time customer and will eventually bring my kids in for cuts too.

Martin is the best in the business. I have been going to him for a decade or more and the quality is always top notch and consistent. I’ve seen all kinds of barbers and stylists and you can literally feel the difference and attention to detail. If you have ever cut your own hair, you’ll know what I mean. I’ll be coming here until Martin retires or I’m bald haha

I’ve been seeing Martin since late high school to early college. From his days in Greenwood, Radar Hair and to the Head Shop. IMO the best barber in town. There are certain nuances that he takes into account when he cuts your hair; hair type, fade, length at top, thinning/balding, cowlick, crown, taper etc… These are things that are not all accounted for at a regular barbershop.

Shelly is the barber ive been looking for she’s very personable, easy to talk to and KNOWS how to really give a great haircut. She’s the best, I have lived in Seattle my whole life and bounced around many barbers trying to find the right one to cut my hair. She pays so much attention to detail and is definitely worth the 40 dollars and tip. She’s very dedicated and I have never left unsatisfied. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Shelly was my barber and she was outstanding. Never been here before and it had been a minute since my hair and beard were cleaned up. Didn’t really know how to describe my style so just let her work her magic and do what she thought looked good. Couldn’t be happier! She was fast, professional and friendly. I haven’t been to a barber since being in the Marines many years ago. My wife cuts my hair but had left the country for a few weeks so I made an appointment and met Shelly. She did a great job, and I really like the haircut. I also enjoyed chatting with her which made going to the barber a nice outing.

Shelly is the barber I have been using for the past several months. I relocated roughly a year and half ago and struggled to find a barber who could consistently fit my schedule and give me a quality haircut. Shelly is fantastic and I will continue coming back! Highly recommend.
