Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueMelinda has been doing my color and cuts for three years and I will not go to anyone else. I have never had someone as knowledgeable and talented when it comes to color. She is also the first stylist in 12 years I have trusted to give me a perm and it came out beautifully. It takes a master to balance a perm with hair that is colored every month and Melinda is a master stylist. Melinda has been doing my color and cuts for three years and I will not go to anyone else. I have never had someone as knowledgeable and talented when it comes to color. She is also the first stylist in 12 years I have trusted to give me a perm and it came out beautifully. It takes a master to balance a perm with hair that is colored every month and Melinda is a master stylist. So glad she now has her own shop.

This is the second time Melinda has cut and colored my hair. Each time I showed her a picture of the desired outcome and have trusted her to perform her magic however she sees fit. The results have been exactly what I have asked for (and she even walked me through each step and explained what she was doing and why) and I am so happy with the service and professionalism she provides. I would not trust anyone else with my hair.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have known Melynda for a few years, my mother and I have followed her around from salon to salon to allow her to do our hair. Recently, I asked for a simple highlight/balayage winter blonde hairstyle. I showed her a picture of the hair I wanted to achieve and she reassured me she could complete this look. At the end of my visit, I left with shades of yellow and orange instead of blonde, and lines of demarcation throughout my hair. Her offer to fix it only included a “root smudge” for which I would be charged $40. I am in nursing school currently and spending an extra $40 for her to fix my hair is not an option for me. Trying to discus this with her was a nightmare, as she was not understanding and trying to accuse my mother and I of attempting to get our hair done for free, even though was paid her $310 without question for hair that neither of us liked. She went on to post a nasty comment about us on her personal Facebook page. I have known Melynda for a few years, my mother and I have followed her around from salon to salon to allow her to do our hair. Recently, I asked for a simple highlight/balayage winter blonde hairstyle. I showed her a picture of the hair I wanted to achieve and she reassured me she could complete this look. She has played a huge roll in my life and also helping me keep a positive mindset ! She is definitely the most knowledgeable and for sure the most experienced woman I know in the hair business!
