Critical: QualityI had taken a photo of a layered retro hairstyle in. I asked the young stylist (who cut my hair) if she could do this. She indicated she could. The hairstyle was longer in the back and shorter on the sides and front. She did a nice job on the undercut that I asked for. However, what I ended up with was an identical bobbed hair cut to the cartoon character called Velma Dinkley (from Scooby-doo). I did not get shown the back side of my hair. She focused on scrunching my hair (pulling excessively hard from the ends to the roots),. She barely blew it dry. I had to finish blowing it dry at home. At home I brushed it and discovered it was a bobbed haircut with short hair in the back and long in the front. I cannot give this salon a high rating as per my experience getting the incorrect haircut. It will take my slow growing hair at least half a year or more to grow to a length that I might be able to get the right haircut at a better salon. I did see lots of women leaving with bobbed haircuts from this salon. Maybe that is all that the younger hairstylists are being trained to do? If you like simple, bobbed haircuts, this will be a place to go. If you wnat something with stylish layers better look elsewhere. I have no confidence in that place. Wherever I go in the future, I will take a photo of what I want and a contract.
