I purchased a Groupon voucher for Hair Tailors, and I was not aware that I purchased a haircut and color until I left the salon. I paid $80 for the voucher, however when I went to my appointment, I only had a haircut even though the stylist asked if I wanted color too. I said no. That was partially my fault since I did not read my voucher carefully, but I wish the stylist was more honest and mentioned that I paid for color too. I ended up paying $80 plus $20 tip on a basic haircut

Jenn is very talented and did a great job on my hair. However, she absolutely did not do what I asked for. I wanted strawberry blonde balayage with most of my hair being strawberry blonde. She told me that based on my base color that it would not turn out the exact color I wanted but similar. I trusted her to do her thing since I have never gotten my hair dyed. She said there would be a noticeable difference. There is not. She did subtle blonde highlights on my hair because that is what she thought was best, even though I just did not ask for that. My hair (dirty blonde) looks basically the same, if you look closely there are more blonde highlights. On the other hand, the cut is perfect. The color also looks beautiful, but it is just absolutely not what I asked for. I expected to walk out with strawberry blonde in my hair, though my color looks practically the same.
