Walked in and was greeted by a very friendly man who owns the place. I felt like I was getting a hair cut in the Andy Griffith show. It was awesome! The personal attention to detail, shaved neck included was something I’ve never experienced in Traverse city before. I will certainly be back!

I am a 72 year old retired Army Veteran. You have to know that I am very particular about my haircuts. And I have been getting my hair cut at The Hair Shack, since I was Twenty One years old when they were on State Street. That should tell you every thing YOU should want to know…Thank you, Roy, and Al <-- (now retired) I recommend the Hair Shack to everyone...They also do womens hair.
