I had a cut and color with Tim this summer. I wanted to blend my old highlights with my natural color, so he used a Goldwell high lift color instead of bleach, and I am quite pleased with the result. It was almost too bright at first, but at Ulta Beauty, where Tim suggested I visit, I found “Brass Off” shampoo and conditioner, products by Matrix. After a few washes this got my hair from “good” to “perfect.” Having used a high lift color instead of bleach really saved the texture of my hair. Thanks, Tim!

And at the same appointment I brought my four-year-old daughter for her first haircut ever, it was an awesome experience for our little one oh, she was very nervous to get a haircut, but her hairdresser did an amazing job, she kept her calm and made her have a very good first experience… so 5 stars all the way. Really poor customer service. I called to schedule my child an appt and was told one stylist was completely booked and not taking clients and the other person who answered isn’t taking clients that age.. I said I guess I’ll try somewhere else and instead of saying I’m sorry here are some options or sorry for any troubles. He just hung up. No good bye, thanks for calling. Just click. We came in to get haircuts for my entire family. The owner did my husband and son and did a fine job, no complaints with her. But her employee did my daughter and mine and I am incredibly disappointed. When we first told her we wanted a pixie cut, she told me something like that I would definitely not get the cut that I was picturing in my head. I should have listened to her and left! She later tried to tell me that I was really asking for a bob cut. She cannot possibly be professionally trained. She also cut at least 4 inches off my layers when I told her one inch was all I wanted. I was watching my kids play so I wasn’t paying attention to her cut my hair. Also, the place was filthy – obviously never cleaned up after each cut or even each day. It was disgusting.

I can’t say enough about Jess and Shaunice. The salon is totally new and improved since Jess took ownership. I was thrilled when I learned she hired Shaunice who did my hair as well as my sons while at His & Hers (now out of business). Both of these ladies are wonderful and do a great job!
