Labronte has been doing my daughter’s hair for a while. She is able to finish quickly while still doing a wonderful job that leaves both me and my daughters happy. I am very picky about the styles I put on my daughters hair and am always skeptical, but she never disappoints. I highly recommend her. I was looking for a braider for my daughter since her braider of 8 years suddenly closed down shop. We have found a new braider in Amarah. She’s very fast but does a great job. Both my daughter and I was very pleased. She definitely saved me cause school was approaching and our appt was canceled and didn’t know what we were going to do. All the braiders are very good and fast. Drea is cold with it too.

I am so happy to have found Drea! She is professional and efficient. I didn’t have to wait for her to start and she was done within an hour and a half from start to finish! I was very impressed with the finished product! She did my hair exactly like I wanted it. Which is rare with the stylists that I have been dealing with. I have traveled all over the Metro Detroit area looking high and low for a good stylist for a little over 2 years now and she was right here all along, just a few miles from my home! I like the fact that she has skills to do a multitude of different styles. Quick weave with lace closure. It looks like it’s growing out of my scalp! She has a new customer in me!

I really appreciate that DeAndrea washes and blow dries hair before braiding. I got passion twists that came out beautiful. She gave good advice on picking out hair. Scheduling online was super easy. Her time estimates online were very accurate and she didn’t randomly stop in the middle of doing my hair (other places have lol). She wasn’t too tight and it never hurt. I was able to sleep easily the same night. I’ve had people put too much hair into my head, but she was very good about not using too much. She was very responsive when I asked her to change braid size and length based on the first braid. You have to bring your own hair.

Asked for an early morning appointment. Hair experience booked me for 10:00am Thursday morning. One hour before the appointment I received a cancellation text saying there’s a scheduling conflict and can I come in at 2:30. No apologies. Nothing. No consideration that I asked for an early morning appointment. And how did I get bumped off the schedule! Just lost a new customer!
