I’ve been to this barber shop before when Tito and David were part of the team. Decided to come back, and was helped by Jose. He was very professional and gave me a great haircut. I was very impressed, for sure I will be coming back to this barbershop and consider Jose my new barber. Highly recommend this place, and Jose. He does a great job… amazing haircut!

I am not giving two stars because of the staff or environment as both were friendly, but I was not very pleased with the haircut I received. It was not terrible, but it was not what I was asking for. Showing a photo of what I wanted also did not seem to help. I also asked for several other specific details such as the front of my hair being cut so that it would not go past my eyebrows, but after coming back home I found that did not happen. Furthermore, there were several spots that were uneven and poorly cut that I had to try at home to fix to the best of my own abilities. I will admit that I could not communicate that effectively because of my lack of haircut lingo, but what I was asking for was fairly basic and what I got was what felt like a mediocre haircut that tried to stylize even though I did not ask for it.

Came here because you guys had good reviews and the place is called The Hair Doctors. I asked for a simple #5 on the top, #3 on the sides with a fade. Barber insisted on a scissor cut on the top and said the back looked good to him. After I had him try to fix it one more time I felt like it went from bad to worse and I felt very uncomfortable as I was running out of hair for this guy to experiment with. Maybe you guys need better lighting or I got the wrong barber but this is really bad and I don’t understand how someone could take pride in their work. If this was a real doctor I would be dead on the table and medical license revoked for malpractice. I was cringing in my seat and I could feel the poor effort with each buzz stroke! I thought I was going to get my head fixed, not messed up worse.

You know what I went back and looked at the booking and hyper focused on the section that said the barber , address and time booked and didn’t see that there was another step to review/ confirm. There are quite a few similar experience’s about being stood up so idk if it’s the same case for them and they haven’t realized it . I apologize . The store and vibe was beautiful and Israel did a great job consoling us and taking care of the clients he had . Please accept my sincerest apologies.

Found this place on a whim by looking on Yelp. Stellar reviews definitely hold true as the quality of this place is top notch. Make sure you go online to set up an appointment before coming in as the walk-in times can be pretty long at peak times. David was quick, professional, and most of all delivered a fresh cut.

All I can really say is WOW! It was my first time here, and I’ve been living in riverside for nearly a month, I was in desperate need of a cut. Israel really hooked it up and did fantastic work. I’m astonished with the results , The environment was chill, and the staff was friendly. If you’re looking for quality work I definitely recommend this place, and honesty Israel is definitely my go to barber from now on, but by the looks of all the other customers they all do great work. Been a loyal customer of the shop for years. Never disappointed and competitive price. My barber Jesse is very thorough and always makes sure that you’re leaving the place with the cut YOU want. The atmospheres of the place is great, many TVs, AC, and waiting area to make u feel comfortable all the while.
