Stay away and find another salon! I had been visiting this salon for almost a year and every visit resulted in having to return the following day for my stylist to “fix it”. The tones and color were not what I asked for or what we discussed during our numerous conversations. The worst part about it was my stylist left streaks of brown, gray and even red in my hair and had photos to prove it. And lastly, there are all young girls fresh out of hair school on the floor with little to no experience and are far from professional in the way they’re meeting with clients and their wardrobe.

Did an amazing job controlling the volume of my hair. It used to get so heavy at the bottom but now it’s perfectly balanced. I can style it so much more comfortably. Sarah was so sweet and understanding of my needs. Highly recommend.

Horrible and overpriced. They are all very sweet ladies and the place is beautiful, however I went in for a bond and balayage and she was rushing the whole process because she had to attend her kids school for lunch. I ended up paying $250 which you cannot see any blonde. I got a “hair mask” it wasn’t anything longer than a minute and my hair feels and smells the same . I wish I would’ve saved my money going else where. Will never be back and will never recommend. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Literally no blonde in my hair even after stating my hair “lifts good” .

I highly recommend the hair bar! I have been going through them the past few years and my daughters go there as well. They make sure that you are completely understood he will get to your goal and he won’t damage your hair. They work really well with my children also. Balayage, Blowdry, Keratin treatments, Hair coloring, Ombre hair color, Kids’ cuts, Blowouts, Haircut

I used to love coming here! I felt I received wonderful cuts, and really enjoyed the atmosphere for about 4 years.

You couldn’t pay me to return to this salon. I booked a haircut for my 12 year old daughter. Their website lists child cuts as $25+. Without saying anything to me, the stylist completed the service and then charged me $75!! Three times the listed price. I asked how that happened and was told my 12 year old has adult hair. My child has adult hair? She’s 12. She has 12 year old hair. and regardless, adult hair is $55+. Again, how did we get to $75 without so much as a conversation with the adult. Steer clear unless you want to be up charged in gross amounts.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went to The Hair Bar excited with minimally dyed hair and asked for a blonde balayage with money pieces. I explained to Jessica who did my hair that I had had it bleached twice before in the past two years as well as 6 months before, had added burgundy Arctic Fox in it. She said that was no issue and proceeded to tell me she could do the blonde balayage easy. However, when she began to bleach she noticed my hair was lifting to red because of the arctic fox. she told me i had two options. The first was to neutralize it with green and it would still be sort of red. The other option was adding in a “natural” red that would blend so I could go to blonde at another session. I asked what they thought and agreed if she could make it look natural because I did not come in there for colored hair because I was concerned about how it might not work how I want. So, she added in the dye and toner and I looked back and it looked very bright, so I asked for reassurance that it would be natural and not too vibrant. She completely agreed and said that’s how it would be. They began to blow dry my hair and it was bright orange barely red and there was a green ring at my roots. I started crying, and she proceeded to go back in with dye and toner. The store had already closed by now and she just blow dried my hair and barely finished my cut; she did not style it. I left crying and was charged 210 dollars for balayage with a cut and style. My hair is almost black at the roots and a patchy orange-red on the rest of my hair. Jessica should have been honest with me and realized that I was unhappy when I blatantly told her I did not like it in the slightest. I was lied to, and now will have to spend much more money somewhere else trying to fix what Jessica did. We have talked to different hairstylists, and they are all wondering how this happened and how too ok go about fixing it, especially not knowing what has been put in my hair or done to it. The least that could be done is to be told all the products and procedure used and done to my hair. In addition, my flannel I wore to get my hair done in has large bleach splotches all over it.Following this, my mom had called the store asking to speak to Jessica and a manager to find out what was done with my hair. Jessica swore to my mom that she did not put dye in my hair. However, I have picture in the salon with it on my hair and my shower floor has been dyed orange from washing it, and it continuously comes out of my hair every time I wash it. Also, there was no way for my hair to be that vibrant without dye; it was an extremely unnatural red-orange. She continued to email the owner of the establishment. The owner has yet to email her back after sending the email March 28th. The pictures I am attaching is a photo from a few days before my appointment and the others are photos taken the day after getting it done. What happened was embarrassing, unprofessional, and just disappointing to say the least.Service: Hair coloringI went to The Hair Bar excited with minimally dyed hair and asked for a blonde balayage with money pieces. Jessica is my new stylist!! I’m new to Woodstock and was so nervous looking for a new stylist. As a new mom, I don’t always feel how I used to before kids, so my SOUL needed some good hair! Jessica was a great communicator- she understood what I was thinking after talking to her and showing her pictures. She kept communicating with me throughout the process. I worked in a salon myself for a couple of years and I can tell she keeps up with her continuing education and hairstyle trends and techniques. Jessica, this mama thanks you SO much! You helped me bounce back! ✨
