Went to this location with my sister this morning for a simple wash/blow/curl. My sister was finished in less than 40 minutes. Her hair was still partially wet, and there was not a curl in sight! Honestly just have to laugh because it was a complete waste of time and money. A round brush and a blow dryer is not the way to professionally curl hair. Picture below of her “curls”

I went here today on my lunch break for a round brush blowout. The stylist that I had was a very sweet girl however my blow out and wash were extremely unsatisfactory. She barely washed my hair. My blow out was terrible. Even after going through with a curling iron it was terrible. Waiting on manager to contact me for resolution. I can’t believe this cost me $50. I have had way better wash and blowdr at Cost Cutters and for almost half the cost.

$70 waste of time! I been to this place a couple of times to get my makeup done and the first two experience was okay but now it’s just gets horrible. I went yesterday, the makeup person who did me was named Ariel, omg she used all liquid makeup and didn’t even bother to try and match the makeup to my tone, she just applied colors on. To say the makeup looked horrible is an understatement, complete different color to my skin tone, and sloppy put on. I had to wipe it all off once I walked out the door because it just looked really bad. I’ve noticed everytime I go there that they don’t even bother buying makeup for women of color skin tones so there’s never any right colors to use and this have been mentioned before but yet still the same thing which is sad because they should have tones for all shades of women. The lady at the front desk who is always nice but yet this day she told me that I should think about bringing my own makeup which I found to be very rude, that’s why we pay you all for…if I need to bring all my own stuff then I will just do it myself, why would I need to come there. Do not let Ariel do your makeup and this place is really out of touch with the good brands of makeup out there, they are using cheap makeup and it’s noticeable when on your face. But because I like to be a good client, I still tip the makeup artist but yeah it’s time for me to start going somewhere else. Very disappointed ☹️

Thank you, thank you! Amazing part of an amazing day!!! Marbles did hair and make-up for my daughter’s wedding party of 14. From Bride, MOB, MOG, bridesmaids, to little bitty flower girls, all were beautiful! Shout out to Brittani who did our daughter’s hair. She was patient, flexible and took extra time to get it right! She even put her veil on her! Shout out to Jenny, who was patient with a nervous MOB! Scheduling early on with Kristin was great. This included a trial run back in November for the bride to see how her hair and make-up could/would look. This Marbles location is close to our church, so we had all services done there and then off to the church! I would highly recommend Marbles for your special event! They helped make our day calmer and get us ready for this wonderful event! Thank you!

Me & two girlfriends showed up for up-dos this morning. Saw a few reviews that made me nervous but we had a fantastic experience!!!! All 4 of the ladies that worked on us were knowledgeable, professional, skilled and fun! Our appointments were on time and we even finished earlier than expected! One of my friends had her makeup done as well and it was so beautiful I was wishing I had done mine too! I will definitely be back! We are thinking of bringing a group of girls for a makeup tutorial- they know a lot about contouring and latest trends.

This was my first time today going to a dry bar. My experience was less then lack luster. Do NOT go to this establishment! I spent $50 on a wash and blow dry that was terrible to say the least. I left my contact information with the front desk for the manager to contact me regarding my experience. Randy Carlson is the manager apparently and all he did was make excuses for the poor service I received. Apparently his policy is that I would of needed to say something at the time of my service so they could have someone else correct the service. So please if you are not happy with your service let them know at the time of the service or you are out of luck. I asked if I could get reimbursed or come back in today for someone else to fix my hair and he said no I would of had to of had it done at the time of the service. By the way my service was around 12:00pm today and I spoke with the manager at 3pm on the phone. I specifically spoke with the front desk upon making payment and they told me they would have the manager contact me. I told him I was not satisfied with how he was handling the situation (he never once apologized for anything) and asked for who is over him. He stated he owned all 3 of these establishments and no one is over him. Well sir…you should not be allowed to be in customer service! I guess this explains why the service was awful. Please go here if you enjoy spending $50 on your hair looking like garbage!!!

One star is being generous! Horrible – HORRIBLE establishment!!! My wife Lisa was in the process of looking for a hair & make up artist for the day of her wedding, for her, and a party of 3. After contacting several different places, “Julianna” at The Hair Bar agreed upon a free trial for just her! After confirming with them TWICE that this service was free, she agreed to drive the HOUR out. “Riley” was the hairstylist that day and the pictures I’ll enclose will speak for themselves. After thanking them and leaving, the manager called my wife and asked if she liked it. She politely told her that no, she was actually disappointed with the work and just doesn’t feel like it’s a right fit for her. Which the manager then DEMANDED that she pay the $174.00 tab for their time. My wife told her no, that Julianna (who turns out to be the owner) said that it was a FREE trial. After going back & forth with them, we were told Julianna has no say in the hairstylist pricing, that she no longer wants to get involved, and as of yet will still NOT return any of the many calls we’ve attempted to make. The authorities were actually called for THEFT….yes, for theft! Even though they politely said their goodbyes, hope to see you soon, and well wishes….it’s theft?!?!?! Theft, which still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Ladies do NOT go to this place. They scammed us, were rude to us (we have audio) and they were just flat out WRONG!!!! This was just wrong on so many levels…it isn’t our fault that they have a lack of communication among their establishment but now it is our responsibility to pay $174.00 for absolutely NOTHING (pictures included) or get charged with theft. I spoke with the police myself…no luck there. I felt like this was just a waste of their time. So thanks Julianna and the hair bar for the bad experience and for legally scamming us out of $174 when we’re already on a tight budget for our wedding this week! AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

I was so excited to have that business in my area, and now I’m so upset and frustrated by their customer service. I wasn’t even able to make a reservation with a rude and very impatient lady on the phone with a lot of attitude. With this kind of presentation you guys will never find a customers.

absolutely terrible. DO NOT GO TO!!!! went to originally for makeup for senior photographs and liked the makeup i received. then came back for hair and makeup for prom (yesterday, 4/2/22) and it almost ruined my entire day. scheduled over the phone, 1-2pm hair and makeup services. got an email saying i had an 11am hair appointment. I called and they said they are already booked up so i had to move my nail appointment to get to the hair and makeup appointment. hairstylist was extremely new and did not know what she was doing. I have talked with others who have gone here and the agreement is that they feel like every stylist they’ve received doesn’t feel trained at all. did not listen to what i wanted and had to take her step by step in detail of what i wanted and she still did it wrong. burned my scalp with super hot hair dryer even after i asked her to turn it down. finally got done with hair and was ready for makeup. they said they did not have me down for makeup and there was no one there to do it. i almost started crying. manager up at the front was very rude and seemed like we were in the wrong when they messed up my entire appointment. demanded 1/2 off hair which they luckily gave. ended up at nordstrom’s and got my makeup done there which i loved. if you want to go there i went to the nordstrom’s at the galleria and got Audrey in the Charlotte Tilbury collection and she is incredible. Lots people go here for special events so please go somewhere where they will take care of you so you don’t almost have a panic attack on a special day like Prom. once again DO NOT GO TO!!!!
