When I lived in Concord 15 years ago I would go regularly, and missed her when I moved a few towns away. I’m an individual looking to transition from male to female and as part of early steps I’m looking to get my hair done. Called in to ask if the owner would work with transgender patrons and was told something along the lines of “no go to Boston” Their competition up the street however was much nicer and were confused I thought they would have a problem giving a “guy” a effeminate haircut. Go up the street instead, pass on this place.

Very disappointed with the owner. Not only is she extremely rough with a hair brush, to the point of actual scalp pain, but I went in to get my inverted bob cleaned up and highlighted and left so disappointed. She over bleached my hair into straw and purposely cut a HUGE chunk of hair off in the back. This was back in August 2016 and the chunk is still 2″ shorter than any hair around it even after having another salon try to blend it back. Not only would I NOT recommend her to anyone I knew but I urge you to avoid this salon. Go somewhere where they actually know what they are doing.
