Everyone in the salon was so welcoming, I loved how clients and hairstyles interacted with each other! Grace is for sure a force of nature, passion runs in her and overflows out. Now I had my hair done by Latoya no let me tell you she has magic hands I am extremely tender headed and I am willing to cut the knots out of your hair in a heart beat, her hands of magic worked all the knots out. The environment is homely and inviting, I walked in with no appointment so I did have to wait but because of how amazing everyone was the time fly by. And they also have snacks and water, if you happen to get hungry there is food all around you.

Critical: ValueAbsolutely loved my hair when it was first done, later on in the day I had white flakes on the back of my neck and throughout my hair from the cheap gel that was used. I’ve gotten fingerwaves numerous times from different stylist and that never happened, I washed my hair out the next day! Absolutely loved my hair when it was first done, later on in the day I had white flakes on the back of my neck and throughout my hair from the cheap gel that was used. I’ve gotten fingerwaves numerous times from different stylist and that never happened, I washed my hair out the next day! This salon is 2min from me, very convenient but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityThe owner, Grace demanded that I sweep the floor… she gossips about clients as soon as they walk out of the door.. the hair styling is mediocre and dated..the owner is pompous, egotisticaland narcassistic. Grace pretends to be spiritual but God is no where in this facility. Get your hair done if you chose, say less REFUSE to sweep (which is an insurance liability btw) and leave immediately. Expect to be the subject of the latest gossip.Apparently, the owner of this salon read my post from two months ago and quoted a scripture from the book of Matthew but where was this spiritual perspective when she was informing the whole salon that a young lady she had just completed hair services for was on drugs and that her mother was also on drugs and they used to be her neighbors? How would I know this information if she hadn’t told me herself. I mean, she offered this information about the young woman seconds after the girl walked out of the shop. Is that what the book of Matthew instructs us to do? I personally witnessed a lady walk out of the salon after waiting to be serviced for hours and the owner’s response was, “so what I have paying clients, if she can’t wait then….” Like I said be very careful what you say in the salon because your business will be discussed with strangers. Ask the owner which part of my original testimony is untrue. She may be upset but she can’t say I am telling lies. I am sure a few of her customers have been asked to sweep the floor. She her self informed me that this was customary at her shop. Does your insurance company know you are creating this type of liability? I also, watched her provoke her own daughter by telling her that “having a male child was the best thing she ever did and he was her baby” right in front of her poor daughter and myself (a new client), the daughter of course ignored her. I mean talk about toxic and unprofessional. Maybe you should read Matthew 7: 1-3 because it seems that in addition to a course in professionalism, leadership and business management you also need a refresher on that particular scripture. Grace has done my hair for over 20 years. She had grown my hair, cut my hair, dyed my hair every color from brown to neon yellow. She is a master cutter and stylist. Her work is unmatched. Her spirit is beautiful and she is gifted and talented! Just be prepared to spend some time.

I never wrote a review ever but I’m beyond annoyed. First I had an appointment set up with Grace (the owner) in advanced. We agreed on Wednesday (3/22/17) at 10 am for a sew in with a closure. The day of the appointment I didn’t want to be late and so I went there at 9:50. I SAT IN MY CAR and no one arrived until 1050 AM. I WAITED IN MY CAR FOR AN HOUR BEFORE SOMEONE SHOWED UP. I walked in told them I have an appointment with Grace and the women talked and told me I can have a seat. Finally someone calls Grace and tells her she has an appointment. Time passes and she still isn’t there. At this point it was 1120-1130and I was beyond annoyed. I had another employee give me her number and I called her. She told me she had went to go buy hair dye and she will be at the salon soon and she will have someone braid me. I understand things happen however have the respect to tell your client you will be late or do what you need to when you don’t have a client. So she gets there half way through my hair being finished braided and she sincerely apologized. At that point I brushed it off and just wanted my hair done. She did my hair and I liked the results and so I decided against leaving the review UNTIL TODAY. When I reached to rub down my hair in the back yesterday I felt what felt like to be the end of the closure. I didn’t think anything of it until today. I finally was able to find another mirror to look at my closure and it was ruffled up. You know when a closure get old it curls and lifts in the front? That is what is exactly the back of my closure looks like. I will not me going to this salon again.

I had and appointment at 3:30 when I got there no one acknowledge me. I told the lady up front I had and appointment she just looked at me. The owner didn’t even acknowledge me. A lady was getting her hair wash by a lady that didn’t speak English well burned her with hot water and wet her clothes up.
