Absolutely loved my hair!!! Was totally worth the trip from Alabama to Georgia. My 10am appointment was right on time and Mr.Narada provided a quick and easy consultation before heading into washing my hair which was an experience in and of itself then he spent the time to make sure each and every curl was perfectly styled. I would definitely become a repeat customer if I ever decide to move to Georgia. Also forgot to add that he answered all my questions about my hair and soothed any worries that I might be mistreating my hair.

Today was my first time getting serviced here, and I am sooooo happy to have found them! The establishment was clean and I loved the artwork displayed. My stylist, Henny was incredibly experienced in natural hair care, knowledgeable and more then happy to teach me how to better care for my own strands. She’s also very much a people-person, funny, and over all, sweet! Best of all, my hairstyle was DOPE! My fiancé loves it, and I’ve gotten compliments nonstop as I ran errands after my appointment! Henny showed up and showed out! She started on time, was gentle and I was in and out of the shop in 1.5 hrs, washed and all!! Costumer service is everything to me, and I feel as though they really exceeded all expectations when it came to making me comfortable. I enjoyed my experience there from start to finish and will definitely be seeing them again in 4-6 weeks!!!

Today was my second time going to The Gyrin Thumb Salon and I loved both experiences. Narada was my stylist and he is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable in natural hair care. Through both services I’ve had, I could not feel him detangling my hair. He is incredibly gentle throughout the entire service from start to finish. I will continue to always go back to him 🙂

When Narada styled my hair he was very gentle and very informative on what products he used and why. Both stylist Narada and Henny were very nice, laid back, and professional. Wonderful experience! I was going to do knotless braids but I didn’t bring enough hair with me. Nevertheless, Henny still crafted this absolutely BOMB braided half-updo; so beautiful and creative! Also, I just have never felt so relaxed and welcome in any salon I’ve been to before. I lovvvveeee Henny. I’ve NEVER came out of her chair disappointed. I will pay the price to look good and if I know that my hair will be bomb every time I leave I don’t mind paying it. It’s worth it. Henny’s energy is everything and she is my go to hairstylist when I don’t even know what kind of style I want. She’s going to do her thing. One of the styles she did for me below.

Glad i finally got to meet AfrikanHairGod + be serviced by him 🙂 I really like the message of simplicity/heat free styling the salon emphasizes, as most “hair stylists” these days often try to persuade customers to get extra treatments that are seldom needed, because they know many folks still don’t have a lot of “natural hair knowledge”. Narada was very pleasant and communicative, as i had a lot of questions about the current health of my natural hair. My service took no more than 2.5- 3 hours total (including washing, conditioning, detangling and twisting). Definitely looking forward to scheduling an appointment with them again!
