Cutting curly hair is very unique and special talent that I have curated for many years. I am passionate about using and selling nontoxic beauty products. I have crazy allergies, and very sensitive skin. Because of my sensitivities, I spend my spare time researching different nontoxic beauty product lines that are mostly plant based, organic, vegan, and free from harmful chemicals for skin, scalp, and body. Carey has worked to hone in her craft on the care and cutting of curly hair. She is also a gifted colorist, and I love how she knows just where to place highlights to get the best shine on my curls. Her salon is private and luxurious. Carey has a way of welcoming her clients into her space and tending to their needs. Highly recommend if you want a private expert salon experience.

Carey is a true entrepreneur that cares deeply about her art as well as her clients and their needs. My wife has been a client for years. When the pandemic hit , I was looking to find someone that took their clients safety (and her own) into account. Carey follows a rigorous safety routine. She wears a mask and a face shield during your appointment and asks that you also wear a mask during your appointment. I feel totally safe when visiting. I’m so glad my wife recommended Carey to me. Carey has her own private hair studio, and I had a great experience there! I went as a first time client for a haircut after a very long time in between cuts due to COVID-19. Her workspace is cozy and clean. She dutifully followed hand washing protocol, and wore both a mask and face shield. She listened to what I was looking for in a cut, how I typically care for my hair, and took her time to do a great job. The experience did not feel rushed, as it can with a typical salon experience. If you are looking for a more individualized salon experience in general, as well as a someone focused on following health safety measures during this pandemic, I highly recommend Carey.
