Okay I taught so much in posting this review because Brenda will make you feel so welcome and she’s so nice but she did my hair I like she did some curls I did not see the back but when I was it the next 2 days my hair was orange I used a conditioner and shampoo I got from her is not about the money is about the work I waited 5 years to color my hair because I was scare of what other hairstylist did to me I will post a picture of what I got she did tell me to come back but me personally I don’t leave my clients house until their job is done right. Maybe she was having a bad day idk but I was so disappointed with my hair I’m sorry

I am not one to ever really write reviews, let alone bad ones. So for me to post this, that should tell you something. This in reference to the Rockwall location on Ridge Road: After reading the reviews for Brenda, I was looking forward to my appointment. Never again. We started off real strong in the first act, with her being an hour late. She called me 15 minutes after the appointment time, only because I had called her multiple times and had left a voicemail. Not an ounce of courtesy to even call me ahead of time to let me know that she would be late. Fast forward to the next scene of her opening the door to her salon suite and there lies chopped hair everywhere. One could at least have the professional courtesy to say “Give me just a moment” and clean up the mess before the client walks in. Luckily the sink was clean, so I carefully treaded over, having to step around clumps of hair. Keep in mind, I came in for a clarifying scalp scrub but it seemed as though I got a simple shampoo wash, spraying my face with water as she rinsed my hair. Thankfully, she swept the array of hair away as I sat in the chair, awaiting the next step of the session. Fast forward to the blowout, and her hair dryer died in the middle of it, saying her Dyson overheats often. I know nothing about the hair cosmetology world, but that seems like a bit of a problem. For the finale, while she did give me some hair and scalp advice/suggestions, she failed to actually treat my problem. Upon looking at my hairline, it looked as though the Charcoal Detox treatment, that she supposedly used, did not work. In fact, my problem area looked completely untreated. Being upset is an understatement. I paid for my services and left extremely heated. I willed myself to think that this experience was just a “one-off” or that maybe she was just having a bad day like all of us do, and so that’s why I paid. But rest assured, there will not be an encore to this tragedy of an experience. I sincerely hope she demonstrates improved professionalism and courtesy with her other clients than she did with me.

Omg!! Can we talk about Brenda, the absolute hair goddess! I’ve been coming to her for over 2 years now and let me say I would neeever go to anyone else.. I came to her upset about my damaged hair, and she literally transformed my hair! I got beautiful extensions, that are hidden with any hair style I choose!The method she uses and tweaked to her own perfection is the best I’ve ever seen! She also color corrected my hair and does some of the best blondes I’ve witnessed! Her blowouts are bomb, her cuts and styles are to die for! She will literally have u wishing you had her everyday for these blowouts! I mean gorgeous! I also go on trips during the summer where she braids in beautiful colors into my hair for fun.. and when she gets done it doesn’t even look like fun, it looks stunning! She takes her time and you can tell she takes major pride in her work! She will literally try to fit you in at any time you need her! Honestly I don’t know how she does what she does! But it is incredible! Every since I started going to her.. they call me repunzel lol! ( hope I spelled that right ) but her hair is to die for, her methods unbeatable, and her work speaks for itself! If you need a hair girl that can do any and everything to pure perfection, SHE IS the ONE! She is and will always be mine! And if you end up going to her, you will never go to anyone else! She does it all, and better than anyone !!
