Critical: ProfessionalismI took my 8 year old daughter here yesterday for the first time, my overall experience was very interesting. the stylist wasn’t friendly at all. I’m not sure she even said anything to my 8 year old daughter but “be still” or “put your head down”. We were in need of a stylist for my daughter’s dance recital which is today so I googled a salon close by. I was charged $90 for a wash, ends clip and simple style. I thought that was a little ridiculous and expensive for a 8 year. I took my 8 year old daughter here yesterday for the first time, my overall experience was very interesting. the stylist wasn’t friendly at all. I’m not sure she even said anything to my 8 year old daughter but “be still” or “put your head down”. We were in need of a stylist for my daughter’s dance recital which is today so I googled a salon close by. I was charged $90 for a wash, ends clip and simple style. I thought that was a little ridiculous and expensive for a 8 year. I won’t be returning to this salon even if it’s close and convenient.

Critical: ProfessionalismFirst to start I was 30 mins late for my appointment because i could not find the location. They were understanding. When I arrived, NEITHER of the stylists and the other client were wearing masks. They required me to wear one and checked my temperature and had to wash my hands but they did not take any precautions. They stylist did not bother to actually look at my hair. I was a first time client and I expected her to ask me what I was trying to achieve before touching my hair. She haphazardly washed it. When she finished I explained that my hair retained water and she probably shouldn’t plat it for the dryer. She did it anyway and did not bother to put any heat protectant on my hair. I sat under the dryer for 45 mins plus an extra 15 because it wasn’t adequately dry. Mind you I got to the shop at 10:30 and my hair still wasn’t dry by 1217. The lady then proceeded to give me a trim and literally chopped it. I didn’t leave the salon until 2 !!!!! Moral of the story! Do not go here! No matter how long I go without a touch up Tara always gets my hair to blend beautifully to what ever shade or color I am looking for. She is a wizard with her sheers and never disappoints. She is also great when I need help styling for work functions or the opera. Seeing her at this new Salon puts the cherry on the cake to our already amazing appointments.
