Hands down the best barber shop not only in Meriden, but in surrounding towns as well! I know because I’ve tried most. It was hard to find a place that could consistently cut (with scissors) and fade my boys hair perfectly every time. The owner and his co-worker are by far the most professional people I know. Not only do they pay extreme attention to detail but while you are getting a cut they genuinely want to know how things are going with your day/week/life. My mom passed away a year ago this coming Saturday and Ed the owner personally reached out to me to see how I was doing and asked if I needed anything. During that phone call I ended up setting an appointment for first thing this Saturday morning to get a cut. Recommend this barbershop to ANYONE!

A little expensive for a beard trim ($20) plus tip, it’s a nice local place but I’ve had a beard trim with all the bells and whistles for $15 for many years. Maybe covid has inflated prices? I know the industry was hit hard. But that’s my take on it, good trim, friendly, nice local place, but a bit expensive for what you get in my opinion.

Hands down one of the best haircuts I have gotten in a long time and I’m not sure it’s close. Ed the Barber just gained a consistent customer. I went around 10AM on a Tuesday and was able to walk in with no wait which was ideal. (Ed also says he takes appointments which is convenient.) The shop was clean, tidy and warm, calm and quiet. The cut was done efficiently and clean. Not too many barbers around that use hot lather and a straight razor to make sure when you say “high and tight” that it’s “tight.” Very fair pricing great value for what you get. Do yourself a favor and get your haircuts here.
