I now call it Maintenance.I’ve been a member for a number of years, and have enjoyed many of the classes offered at MVP such as pilates, spinning, Group Active and Warrior, resulting in a need to to have massage therapy to help my muscles relax & get the kinks out. Crystal is my go to girl and, for me, I sleep better, and have improved circulation amongst all the other benefits of massage. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThe MVP facility at Brownwood has recently opened its facial cleansing services in its Spa Services Department. I was very happy, not having that opportunity for about six months, due to the COVID-19 restrictions.I have engaged facial cleansing services for about two years because it is highly recommended by dermatological specialists—I think especially so as we grow older. The facilities at Brownwood are comfortable and roomy and the anesthetist I see, Valerie Lowe, uses soft music and lighting to make certain her clients are relaxed and comfortable. She is expert in her use of skin abrasions and emollients and follows up with messaging of the neck and arms. She engages in light conversation the whole while, but I think that depends on the desires of the client. Since the start of COVID the club had discontinued this service, so I was very glad that they were resuming the facial services. As usual, Valerie was great. My facial was relaxing and I left with glowing skin!! I have already booked another for next friday.
