The owner, Todd Burnett, brings many years of experience in his craft to downtown Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Not only a barber, but barber educator, Todd continues to stay on the cutting edge of styles and best practices for men’s grooming. The Fox offers a wide variety of grooming services and proudly represents the Depot Male Tools and Co.

It’s the experience you hope to get from a barbershop! You know, the men’s hangout in the movies… The Fox is a place I look forward to visiting every single time. Todd has done a tremendous job of making the place his own. The decor and atmosphere is very inviting. Todd, himself, just makes you feel welcome and at ease from the moment you walk in. He’s very good at what he does, to the point where many times I just give him an idea of what I’m going for, then say “just make me look good…do what looks best”. There’s a reason people drive from Evansville, Newburgh, and even Illinois to get a cut at the Fox. Some people don’t care for “walk-ins only” barbershops, but truthfully, that’s how they’ve always been since their inception. That’s how it should be. People are in a rush far too often, or procrastinate far too much. Many are spoiled on instant gratification. Barbershops aren’t just meant for an efficient cut. They’re meant for relaxation, socializing, and community. So check Todd out, come take a seat…join in the conversation, or start one up. You won’t be judged either way..but you might as well enjoy yourself while you’re there!

I have never had a permanent barbershop until about a year ago when I switched to The Fox Barbershop because of the treatment I was getting compared to many other places I had been to before.
