I have been going to the Foot and Hand spa for years for my pedicure. I would not go anywhere else. Great customer service, professional and most important excellent sanitation of equipment. All the ladies are great but Keke is my go to person:).

The spa cancelled my appointment 30 min before scheduled time. I was on my way. Very unprofessional and I don’t recommend this “business” . Apologies were made, gas and time wasted. Very bad customer/patient care for a medical facility.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, PunctualityI’ve been a patron of this business for about two years. I changed to this salon when I was pregnant.I valued safety after I realized that other salons did not actually sterilize their instruments (they used the steripack envelopes to appear clean but didn’t actually run them through the autoclave sterilizer). I have been to five different nail technicians and each one was skilled in removing ingrown nails. I had to learn to schedule ahead like every other doctor appointment because there are no walk-ins or last minute appointments. I have to prioritize my safety and overall health now over social events but it is worth it. I have referred a family member with diabetes to prevent infections who continues to use their services. I think this place is unique and should be utilized by those who are serious about their health and do not have strict scheduling requirements. As far as cancellations, well, as a Healthcare provider, I know sometimes we disappoint our clients when unforeseen events occur. I have come to expect issues to arise everywhere in our current lives, but within two years of monthly visits, they have rescheduled me once. Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI had an appointment today. Waited a month for this appointment which is hard to come by. I was so excited about the appointment. They call me an hr before my appointment to cancel because someone didn’t come to work. They didn’t try to accommodate me with another tech. They will charge me $40 if I cancel at the last minute. Until recently I have enjoyed getting my pedicures at this spa, which is conveniently located in the Johnson-Willis Hospital campus. Although somewhat cramped for space, it is clean, bright and efficient. However, my most recent visit was less than satisfactory. While I did receive very good personal service, the staff spent too much time gossiping about other staff members, patients and the salon’s music. I feel that such behavior lacks professionalism and hope that staff and management refocus their efforts on providing customers with outstanding service. Eye rolling, unkind comments and bad attitudes are best left in middle school.
