I’m not one to post negative reviews or impact anyone’s livelihood but in this case I felt the need to do so. If you care at all about your appearance and your hair, I would avoid this spot. While the price is reasonable (at $20), I required another haircut to mend the damage to my hair.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI usually have Nguyen cut my hair and she does an excellent job. The price is great and includes a straight razor shave of sideburns & back of neck. Also a hot towel application. I have been going there for the past 10 years.

On the tail end of a bad customer service experience at a different barbershop, I headed to the Famous Barber Shop about 10 minutes before they closed on a Saturday evening. The lady was locking the door, but had customers inside in the barber chairs. She saw me and I asked her if she was closed, and she said yes, but “come in”. That was the great customer service indication that I needed. Since then (October) I’ve been a loyal customer. My haircuts have always been good, but I’m rating them as very good because of their customer service, combined with their cuts, and their price, which is better than average.

You know when you show a barber a pretty cut and dry picture of how you want your hair to look and they totally butcher it you don’t go back. Sorry I won’t be going back. you know, hair is semi permanent if you don’t take the time to do it right it’s going to be wrong for a while. so please don’t screw up peoples haircuts.

I usually go have Nguyen cut my hair and she does a great job. The price $14 is great and includes a straight razor shave and warm towel. I have had a couple hack jobs from others, but still return a couple times a month

Not only highly skilled barbers and beauticians. Very friendly/family atmosphere. I bring my entire family there..me personally I go with the ole’ time barber from NY and get the shave(with a straight razor)and a haircut. Just like the good ole’ days ; ) love it!

I discovered this new barbershop about 4 months ago and have been a faithful customer ever since. The staff really goes out of their way to be friendly and each Barber takes their time to give customers a consistently great haircut and neck/earline shave, plus hot towel with lemon. They even throw in a free soda, all for $10. Check them out if you live in the area, you will not be disappointed.

I haave been going to this shop since they opened. I am particular about who cuts my hair. Ha is the best ever! Gino also gives a great cut. The neck shave and hot towel at the end is icing on the cake. Don’t miss these folks. Friendly, great service and reasonable price. Truely an American classic!!!

I have tried many barber shops in the area, including the Hair Cuttery and American Barber on Linton Hall, as well as the one near Wegmans. There is no comparison to the combination of value and quality you get at this Barber shop. I have never really had their popcorn, lollipops, or soda – which I see that the kids love – but the haircut, hot towel, old-fashioned razor side-burn shave, and occasional head massage for only $12 bucks is a steal. The people are friendly and the environment is all American.
