She remembers details about her clients and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Pre-pandemic, the barbershop was a comfortable, jovial, environment suitable for adults and children.During the pandemic, Brenda has followed the COVID-19 guidelines of appointment only services, maintaining more than 6 feet between active chairs, limiting capacity, providing face masks and hand sanitizer, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Even before the pandemic, Brenda maintained a very clean barbershop. Additionally, Brenda provides money for the parking meters, which is an added benefit for a Mack Avenue business.If you are looking for a barber, look no further than the Family Barbershop. Brenda is an amazing barber! I don’t even have to tell her how to cut my hair anymore because she remembers me that well enough to do a great job every time and I haven’t even been going there for even a year yet! I highly recommend this shop for anyone that wants a good haircut and a friendly bond!

This shop is great! It’s updated and clean with tvs at every station for entertainment & free wifi. My husband, son, daughter and myself have been getting our haircuts there for years. Brenda is able to cut the hair of a squirming toddler and it turns out perfect, she’s amazing!
