I’ve been getting my hair cut at the Edge with Xanthia since I moved to the area. I have loved every single one of my cuts I have gotten with Xanthia. Super awesome place, friendly comfortable environment, safe for LGBTQ folks if you want a barber experience. Wouldn’t get a cut anywhere else!

I have been going to Xanthia for about a year now for my haircuts. She is amazing and very talented. As a black man with dark course hair, I have had my fair share of barbers who aren’t comfortable with a crisp lineup, short hair that grows in different directions or even transitioning clipper lengths. Moving to Santa Barbara, I was worried that I wouldn’t find a barber that was used to cutting my type of hair and I may have to go to LA. I did not need to worry! Xanthia is a magician with clippers. She has phenomenal attention to detail. uses a straight razor for my shape up, and my haircut is perfect every time. She even gives advice on hair care. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair.

Xanthia at The Edge is one of the most professional, detail oriented, skilled barbers I have met. She has a sharp eye for the smallest details and does a very relaxing routine.
