My massage therapist, Emma, was awesome! The spa was very clean, kept, and looked after and I could tell the front desk staff paid particular attention to the details. I scheduled a group of ladies to attend the spa and each call with the front desk was very accommodating and they were always kind. I appreciate all the wonderful service in a world that is severely lacking in hospitality right now! Thank you for making us feel welcome.

The spa itself is gorgeous, relaxing, and serene, while the staff is friendly – check in and check out we’re a breeze. The massage was exceptional, my therapist was amazing and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back!

I received a gift card for my birthday. Randy was my massage therapist and did a fantastic job focusing on my post-operative knee tightness. He did an outstanding job listening to what my goals were, attentive to my tolerance to the pressure, and perfect amount of conversation.

Russell was extraordinarily helpful. I came in with severe low back pain and I am in much better shape today. I also just generally enjoyed his style. I’ll definitely be back!

Loved our experience at The Dragontree Spa! We did a couple’s massage and it was amazing! We walked and were immediately greeted with tea or water. They had very clean and comfortable changing rooms with clean and comfortable robes. The bathrooms were equipped with many hair care and body products for after your massage. We then waited in a quite comfortable room with more tea until our massage therapist came. Both ladies were small, which worried me at first, but they were amazing!! We both wanted more pressure and they did a great job delivering. Highly recommend the muscle melt add on!! We will be back when we come back to Boulder.

I have been to The Dragontree twice now and both times I have left feeling extremely disappointed. The first time I received a massage the MT would not stop talking about herself throughout the entire session. I let her know that I really prefer a silent session when receiving a massage but she just kept talking about absolute nonsense. It seemed like she had very minimal training and no knowledge of the body or proper techniques, she continuously ran her elbow over my bones and didn’t pay any mind to the areas that I requested specific attention to. I was hesitant to visit The Dragontree again after the worst massage of my life but I decided to give them another chance. I booked a deep tissue massage for my birthday. The MT I was booked with highlighted trigger point therapy and deep tissue in her bio. Before the session I told her that the only thing I really wanted to focus on was my low back and hips. She applied absolutely ZERO pressure (even lighter than a standard Swedish massage) and when she told me to flip over, I asked if she could spend a little more time on my low back because she only worked on it for about 5 minutes. She seemed offended by my request and then told me I should book with a male therapist next time. I have been a massage therapist and esthetician for 15 years, I have worked in very high-end spas and owned my own businesses. The atmosphere and decor at The Dragontree is absolutely beautiful. The front desk staff was kind and accommodating. But, for their price point and reputation I wish they would do a better job with hiring.

I have been to the Dragontree 3 times and the first 2 times were really good and the last time was terrible. I had found a massage therapist who I really liked there but when I tried to book with her again she had stopped working there. I am pretty picky about who works on me – I have been a massage therapist myself for over 25 year and have gotten a lot of massage – so I took a long time to read the bios of the therapists at the Dragontree to pick out somebody who I thought might be a good fit since I really like the atmosphere there and the steam room. I booked an appointment several weeks out because I couldn’t find a time with that therapist ( a woman) earlier. When it was time for my appointment I was shown to my room by a man and I thought maybe he was just there to show me to my room. It then became clear that he was going to be my therapist and I was quite confused and when I asked about it he said oh, I am filling in for the other person. I found it odd that I hadn’t been informed about the change of therapists, especially switching from a female to a male. It was an awkward moment, while I was trying to decide whether to go ahead with the massage or not. I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the worst massages I have ever gotten in my life. I think he must’ve been a newer therapist, he seemed nervous and unsure, he didn’t seem to know anatomy very well and didn’t really work on specific muscles and he hardly worked on the areas that I asked for. Even though I am picky, I don’t expect the highest quality of massage at a spa, but I have gotten some good massages at spas before and this definitely was not one of them.

I’ve had good experiences in the past, but unfortunately the last one was absolutely horrible. Received an uncomfortable oil rub down for the price of 2 quality massages and then received less than quality customer service when voicing the awful experience to the “spa coordinator”. I will not return and I do not recommend.. Thankfully there are plenty of well trained professional massage therapists around.

Margo was excellent. I had a 90 min massage.I don’t always have such a great review but will try and book with her for future visits. The other therapists I have tried in the past were good but Margo is very skilled. I like her approach.
