Christine is my stylist, and her move to District Salon was very positive, the salon has big open spaces, very lively and upscale! Parking is great on the street /lot behind the building, that street is wide open. Big scissor signage takes you right into their lobby Great place, and Christine is AMAZING!

This is a cool hair salon. The location is great in downtown Dana point. The building is cool with an industrial interior. They have drinks of your choice, which is nice. Everyone was really friendly, from the receptionist to the stylist. I think the price was reasonable for a mens cut.

I’m writing this review because people should know that this salon does shady stuff. I got my stylist from a different salon and ended up following her over to the district salon. she told me she transferred salons but in reality I find out she was fired, which now it totally makes sense. I asked her to lighten the color of my hair she left bleach on my hair for two 30 minute session total of 1 hour of bleach I told her it was burning my scalp and it needed to come off, but she kept insisting my hair was fine and left it on anyway. especially since I went to cosmetology school and have my degree I find this extremely unprofessional that she doesn’t know the amount of time that’s OK to leave bleach on the clients hair. My scalp got gnarly scabs and I had to see a doctor because my scalp burnt so severely it took about four months for it to heal. It hurt when I even brushed my hair.
