I have been going here for a while and Dr. Stites and PA Bryce are super! My recent visit I checked in 20 minutes early and the receptionist apparently forgot to check me in. I sat there waiting for over an hour because they thought I was late and “working me in” now. Luckily I knew someone who quickly took care of that issue. All said, it’s one of the best in the area, I love the care givers here! Would have been five stars but that red head at the desk forgot me!

I waited over a month to get in to be seen, only to be turned away at the counter due to an insurance issue. Every question I asked Angela was met with a combative tone that wasn’t to help find a solution but one to prove how I didn’t have what I needed to be seen there. The only option she gave me was to pay out of pocket. It was remarkably embarrassing, so much so that I will never step foot in that place again, even after I get the proper referral information from my insurance.

I’m sure their dermatologist are great. However, I’m not impressed with their scheduling or billing department. I drove an hour and a half one way (after telling them on the phone I had Medicaid when setting up the appointment over a month ago) from Russellville to Fort Smith because they offer CareCredit. I get to my appointment for her to ask for my insurance card and she takes it to their billing/insurance verification department. She comes back and stated my Medicaid was still active and that I would have to have a referral from my Primary Care Physician and that once I got that then they could reschedule my appointment. I then got an appointment with my PCP the very next day (today) and afterwards called to schedule my appointment with the dermatologist because I only have set days I could go. The phone clerk answers and tells me that she’s not sure why they even scheduled my appointment in the first place because they aren’t accepting Medicaid patients. So why not tell me that when I first called instead of having me drive all that way for no reason whatsoever? Or why not tell me that when I was at my appointment yesterday (10-10)??? Absolutely inconsiderate of others time and money, and pretty darn unprofessional.
